Kumuyiii:If you have a good mechanic he's the one that should be picking the engine, unless you're also knowledgeable in that area, otherwise I'd leave it to him. Like some have also said, first thing I would do is flush the engine. Honda engines are difficult to kill and I'm not surprised that you still have proper compression and movement. Try a flush and see how that goes. Get liqui moly, prestone or seafoam. The reviews on seafoam and liqui moly are overwhelming. Also, if the oil burn is not crazy bad. If it's something like 1 litre between service cycle, I'd leave it or confidently do the flush. You may also want to check for visible traces of oil as that would suggest a bad seal somewhere or (as it happens in my own car) change the PCV box if your car has one. Mine usually gets clogged over time and it causes leaks or shortage.

With a 2006 Honda Civic, how feasible is it to make ₦100,000 to 150,000 net per week (Monday to Friday)? Regarding insurance, can third-party coverage work for this business, or must it be comprehensive? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Kaymax2222: 1:14pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
haykay2005:you can make it bro, but you need to put in the work, that's one thing about this Uber work if you want the money you need to put in the time and work |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Glithronix: 1:43pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
haykay2005:All you need is the 3rd party. Comprehensive is a flex if you have the fund to do it. Much respect, sir. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Dabadwela: 2:13pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
Glithronix:3rd party doesn't cover owner in cases of accidents, theft and fire. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Glithronix: 2:51pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
Dabadwela:Everybody knows what 3rd party insurance covers and that's all I need. Comprehensive is just a flex if the (e-hailing) driver has the fund to give them. Abi any driver on this platform don report theft of their car or fire incident before? Btw, the person I quoted asked if both insurances cover the work and my response was YES. Just like a friend of mine who has both insurances, I am always like, "oga wetin be ur problem? ![]() On top this e-hailing? 😁 Much respect, boss. |

After Using the 3 most popular E-hailing platforms. I think Uber is by far the best. They care so much about the driver unlike bolt |

Vela01:I agree with you totally. As someone who has driven long on d three platforms. Uber is the best followed by Indrive then Bolt(number 1 for surge sha )Honestly Indrive is very profitable once u are very selective and calculative about your trips. If not u will just be burning fuel and living instead of actually profiting. Anyway unless u have a small engine car or CNG u can do any how price on indrive and still profit extremely but my advise above is basically for cars with 2.4L and above |

Kaymax2222:You don't have to tell them you are using the car for ehailing.. even the fully comprehensive plan don't support ehailers.. |

haykay2005:my best advice for you is to enter oyigbo. There is nothing that can be wrong with your car that they won't fix, and you will even get the part cheaper there. |
