raumdeuter:The bank's job is not to trace the owner's home address for u and effect arrest. Theirs is to identify the owner, block the account and provide his details to security operatives. The security operatives there is the police that will not move an inch for you except you drop hundreds of thousands as mobilization fee. Someone who has just been robbed is definitely not in a position to drop that kind money. I get person wey don follow through the process before and I can tell u it's a dead end without you dropping money for police on top the money u Don lose in the robbery. |

BlueRayDick:Police can collect a hefty sum from you..and still not do anything. When next you reach out to them for update, they will tell you a lot of junk stories, then remind you that you have to pay for fuel again, so they can continue the job. |

BlueRayDick:There was no negligence anywhere in that list, it was sold to the highest bidder. I actually don't blame those calling for the release of MNK following the release of that pardon list. A very terrible list that shouldn't have seen the light of day. Truly Nigeria politicians don't care. I begin to imagine what the judges, the eye witnesses, even police officers that handle those cases will be feeling. Are they even safe from retribution from these violent criminals? Omo tueh |

BlueRayDick:Depends on how much money is involved. If the money plenty. They'll most likely charge with percentage of the money. And run the job for you. Speaking from personal experience sha. But if the money wey lost no reach, my bro them go just dey whine you |

Tataffo:See monitoring spirit. This one na real tattafo. ![]() I criticized Tinubu for not doing well in security but in the East, he inherited the hydra-headed Ipob problem and like Spy360 stated, Igbo people saw nothing wrong in Kanu's orders to kill and destroy. Who am I to now cry more than the bereaved? It's to avoid the zone until sanity resumes like Obi did by ferrying his wife and kids out of the region. |

larride:Nnamdi has not been convicted, so what would he be pardoned for when its still likely he gets released as innocent |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 3:38pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
raumdeuter:True but if the President can pardon a military major personnel who sold guns and other ammunitions to terrorist (The clear definition of treason), what's the point of prosecuting MNK? I don't blame those calling for his release one bit. The government shot themselves in the foot. You cannot be pardoning someone convicted for treason and wasting scarce resources to prosecute another man for treason |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 3:38pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
raumdeuter:The real question is: How is it that someone who was arrested in 2021 has not been prosecuted and convicted in October 2025? Does that not signify the failure of the entire justice system? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 3:42pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
larride:DSS has had him in custody for almost 4 years and have not been able to close their treason case against him. Is that not even a shame on them? If he has indeed committed treason, they should present their case before the judge and let the judiciary instead of making a cult hero which arsonists and terrorists draw inspiration from his incarceration. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 3:53pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
larride:Clamoring for his release makes no sense. when you have been charged to court, you are either guilty or innocent which the court will then jail or release you. Now if Kanu wants the amnesty maybe he will plead guilty or convicted then start lobbying for amnesty As long as he keeps claiming he is innocent, he will have to prove his innocence The main place where govt messed up was not holding his guarantors liable when Kanu jumped bail |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 3:58pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:That is because his case was complex, he was first arrested in 2017, he jumped bail, committed more crimes while on the run then having to be tried for the initial crimes, jumping bail and new crimes committed The Justice system failed by not holding his guarantors liable like they should making a joke of the exercise cos flouting laws now had no consequence |

raumdeuter:This doesn't make sense to me. Whether he jumped bail or not is immaterial. He was arrested in 2021 and the DSS have a chance to try him for whatever crime they feel he may have committed whether in 2017 or 1999. What happens to consolidating their charges against him, take it before a court and close a case against him? 4 years is a whole lot of time if you ask me and it's failure of the entire justice system that a man will be kept in incarceration for 4 years without producing him. Even under military government , one is not expected to be locked up indefinitely without a court sentencing him to prison or putting him on death row. It's a shame! |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 4:19pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Why can't DSS get all of these witnesses, have them testify and close the case against him for 4 good years? Why do they have to keep him in custody till lunatics like Ekpa started drawing inspiration from his alleged "persecution"? The more they keep him in custody without a judge sentencing him to prison, the more they make his a Matyr. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 4:24pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:The case hasn't even started sef, both lawyers on both sides wan use injunction wound the case. MNK also has changed lawyers twice and also requested for the judge to be changed twice also citing bias. The whole case is a whole mess. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 4:26pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:The case itself hasn't started, they are still on arguing bail and the likes the last time Kanu was in court. It's a joke. ![]() |

larride:So NK by his own action is delaying the case.. |

BlueRayDick:They are covering all the base so that every injunction from NK and his team can be covered. Dont be in a rush, Justice would be delivered for all the victims |

larride:I thought he was discharged and acquitted in 2022 by the Appeal court because he was brought into the country illegally so any trial cannot take place or is that wrong? |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:22pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
larride:Can you imagine? I thought at some point the trial judge granted him bail or so. The case is so messed up that the average Nigerian has tuned out and no longer interested in it. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:26pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
raumdeuter:This is a very bad defense point. The state took 4 years to cover its asss against injunctions a private citizen might bring against her? Haba! Perhaps it's due to the illegal means through which he was renditioned. Because normally no state should be scared to the extent of covering her asss from injunction for 4 years. What if the case is now Nigeria vs Another Country? How many years will we use to cover our asss? |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 5:43pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
Melvyn11:I'm not sure about this oo. The last time Kanu was in court, they are arguing about bail based on Kanu health conditions, the judge was going to rule on that so the substantial case can start, I don't know if there has been a ruling |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 5:44pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:Yeah the bail was in 2017 but since he was arrested and brought back to Nigeria in 2021, no judge has granted him bail. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 5:48pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Yep. I think it's intentional to try and get a political solution to the matter instead of a court judgement. He has requested to replace his lawyer twice and asked Abuja chief judge to reassign his case to another judge twice. The recent one is arguing for bail based on health ground. The prosecutors are not serious too though, I'm not even sure they are ready to try the case itself. |
