Got a Mobil 1 5W 30 for my passat cc 2014 which is the recommended grade for the car. However, I have refused to use it because the manufacturer’s specification - VW 504 / 507 was not written on the body (see attached pics). So I feel like it isn’t compatible with my engine. Even the mobil 1 ESP 5W 30 with green sticker does not have it written on it as well. Pls guide on if I can still go ahead to use the oil purchased

You still can use it . It is a bit of an over kill

Mobil 1 5w40 is more situable .. this is the euro blend for Euro cars like your car ,G wagon, Audi, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce basically euro cars
