Few days back some lagosians on x were saying item 7 restaurant food is too cheap. Meaning it should be increased, because if it's not pricey enough then it's not valuable enough to them, they want exclusivity.

Nnamdi Kanu has the blood of Igbo sons and daughters on his hands and I absolutely do not care what anyone thinks about my position. Just because it is happening in other regions doesn’t justify it in Igbo land. Other regions can decide to do whatever they want.

I have said it, especially to those in diaspora who sponsored the violence in Igbo land… These killings will come to your doorstep one day. NK condemning killings in 2024 and trying to accuse criminal elements in his group has no consequences for me.

Biafra and the marginalization of Igbos in Nigeria is a legitimate argument but I can’t support a group like IPOB and how it’s style. Nigeria is such a volatile country to use such strategies in pursuing whatever cause you have.

The Nigerian government pushed ipob to whatever you guys claim they did.
Argue all you want, Ipob was initially a very peaceful group, and didn't create trouble for anyone, until buhari started hounding them.

Herdsmen also started killing farmers, and normal individuals with reckless abandon, when all cries fell on deaf ears, Ipob had to transform to meet the realities then.

That operation python dance, the Fulani herdsmen killing farmers, and the constant harassment of individuals linked to Ipob and igbos generally led to Ipob becoming what they're today. There's a limit to what people can take, and it differs for everybody.

Before you quote me or say anything, I've never supported Nnamdi Kanu or Ipob before, but I have to say the truth, because you people are beginning to omit some facts.
I won't allow anyone rewrite history we all witnessed.

It's not really about that, Most times the location really matters. There are some rich men areas where they have premium supermarkets that sell groceries at premium prices. The owners of such supermarkets pay premium price for rent of their space and also pay various forms of tax & levies to government.

All of those money, the owners will make it back from charging above the price you would buy in an open market or on the mainland.

I'm sure people who live in those highbrow areas won't complain about the price. It's most likely the lady who raised alarm online is not resident there; she needed to buy something there and was astonished at the price.

I agree with Izzou on that, the man made mistake after mistake and sometimes, those mistakes ended lives and are still ending lives up till now...

One thing is certain though, there are a lot of guns in the East and anecdotally, it doesn't seem security forces are doing enough to combat the insecurity there.

I am guessing you are following the beef between Bitcoin Chief, Gaius Chibueze and IPOB Chiefs who are threatening him for expressing the above sentiment. Chibueze basically said that no Igbo abroad should send money home to IPOB or anyone claiming they can deliver Biafra, that such an act is sponsorship of insecurity and home-grown terrorism.
