I once visited a general Hospital, and I saw people sleeping outside on tents, no power. Only 1 doctor attending to over 18 patients in a ward. Why the comparisons? Cost of living is different in both countries, for instance, how much do they pay for rent in the UK and how much is rent in Nigeria? Many of us are carried away by the illusion of the exchange rate.

A person who earns a minimum wage in UK can pay bills, live healthy and still access basic necessities of life. What can your minimum wage in Nigeria guarantee an average worker?
