I called a friend presently in Saudi Arabia to ask if he went to church today

His replay "which church"? No church here oooo na indoor we dey pray here.
I thought it was a lie till I search Google and this was the result.

Is there no religious tolerance in islam?. Am not saying there should be other worship center in Medina or Mecca but at least there should be in other areas even if it's 1 official church.

England has lot of official mosque, Italy the headquarters of catholism has mosques. So why not even 1 church in Saudi?

Where they are the majority, they wouldn’t tolerate any religion in their midst.

I think the world need to seat down and discuss religious tolerance among all faith. If U Go to Christian dominated countries U see moques in large numbers, Hindu dominated countries U see mosques, buddist dominated countries U see moques but a Muslim dominated country ban other religion. That does not look fair at all

One thing I hate about Islam is once you don't share the same faith or religion with them, they already see you as devil and nothing I repeat nothing you can do to change d narrative..infact even if one inside two of blood Muslim brothers join christian the muslim brother can't hesitate to kill his blood because of faith..am not talking about the fasting time Muslims, i mean the core ones..and Christianity is not like that,.. infact Christianity preach love even to non Christians..but Islam teaches hatred towards people that are not of the same faith..so pathetic

Na their way o. That's why even as I don't belong to any religious affiliations and dey mostly indifferent, I still get this inate dislike for that religion of vawulence.... Their ways are detestable, despicable and utterly unreasonable.

While I'm no longer christian, I believe in equity and smartness.

The other day I came across a post about the Vatican library giving and dedicating a room for prayer for Muslim scholars who use the facility.

Also there are mosques in Italy.

thank God the Vatican came with a city at the end of the name. Please I will like to know the size and population of Vatican city and Saudi Arabia. Am not saying there should be church in Mecca or Medina. But there should be at least 1 church or other worship center in Saudi Arabia.
U Just shot Ur self.did U See the other place they wrote how ever the Vatican has open the apostolic library for Muslims to pray. A city that is so small is wat U want to compare with the whole Saudi Arabia

Ozwor they are talking about a whole country you are comparing a city, and you can even see it clearly written there that there is a dedicated prayer room for Muslims.

The topic is misleading!
There are churches in Saudi Arabia but it's worship centers apart from mosques that aren't there.
CHURCH according to the Bible doesn't mean the building but a congregation of worshipers so where two or three gather in the name of Christ Jesus there is a church!

This is the jihad.

Islam is totally incompatible with individuality.

It's a cancer to the world. A darkness that needs to be repealed.
