Most people who didn't vote for him from the north will vote for him. Also, many of the 'christian' votes who were skeptical in 2023 will vote for him. Also, rigging against him will reduce.

It is all about looking strong on paper so rigging can be easily justified.

They should be strategizing towards 2031, and not 2027 that has already been lost.

This is the first time in Nigerian history that the winner already emerged before the election.

Huge loans have been taken for infrastructure and there are projects going on everywhere. If the Lagos Calabar highway is ready before the elections, these will win him votes in the South South especially.

With that project alone, he mught have done more for them than GEJ. His people benefitted greatly from the Amnesty program under him.

If you dey follow Nigeria politics, let me remind you what happen in Edo state in the last governorship election.
Obaseki was locked out of INEC collation office, we all saw it on video when they embarrass him out of the collation centre. That was when they rigged the election results in favour of the party.
Let me give you another scenario, in the last general presidential election in Rivers state, when Wike locked out all the PDP party Agents out of the collation centre, where he got the chance to rigged the results to favour the ruling party that bought in this present administration.
Now take a look at what is happening to the opposition parties in the country where every politicians have port to the APC.
If elections is been conducted today, who do you think will carry the day?
When the opposition party have no party agent that will monitor the results in the collation centre that alone will the APC edge to rigged the results in their favour.
As it's now, Nigeria has become a one party state, even the the electorate vote their mind, who are the party agents that will protect their vote against the ruling party.
For a party to win, they need a structure which the opposition is going to be lacking as we entre into the general elections, unless something happens.

Yes and No.

YES - the governor that is adore by his people can definitely convince them to follow his direction. Besides, it is very easy to rig a state with the consent of governor than withiout his consent.

NO - if the political alignment and beliefs of the people of their state is completely not in direction of their new party. Event at that, a governor will still be able to convince large numbers of people around him.

Oppositions should try as much as possible to stop their governors from decampong to rulling party because they are the financial backbone of every viable political party.

Lagos/Calabar highway completion will NOT make any South south Man or woman vote Tinubu/APC.

Tinubu should have focussed on East-west Warri to Ughelli to Pirt-harcourt to Calabar East-west road.

Or Sapele-Benin city- Auchi- federal road.

Instead he focusses on his Lagos State.😕

Some of you just open silly threads! Election is not about winning a state but about meeting the constitutional requirements which is winning the majority of votes cast and getting the spread across the country. These governor's are very vital to this.
