I don't see my salary as salary anymore.

I can't save from my salary.

But I save very high amount from my side income.

Depends on the person. The responsibilities of an unmarried man in his early twenties earning 500k cannot be compared to that of another married man with four children and a wife to cater for. The young guy will be able to save if he’s prudent while the married guy will struggle to manage the salary monthly without taking additional loan.

This is what Tinubu did to Nigerians since 2023

Considering the fact that only about 5 percent of Nigerians earn that much, that's to tell you the level of suffering Tinubu and you guys has brought on Nigerians, i even thought i was living extravagantly, until I was able to accept the reality that this is the new normal now.

500k is no longer a decent salary even for a bachelor in the face of the economic summersaults policy of the current administration.

500k earners were said to be middle class before Tinubu regime, to be honest with you, 500k is no longer a big money in Nigeria.

100k is like 3500 naira daily, that's barely enough for morning and afternoon food for one person.

No matter the amount you’re paid if the economy is bad, you’ll be going in circles thinking you’re making progress… if you want to understand what I mean

Those working abroad and gets paid $3k to $4k monthly, if rent is taking $1500 and feeding and personal expenses taking $1000 monthly which is not true excluding tax , do you think they’ll see anything to send back home. But in Nigeria you’ll be paid 300k monthly, your expenses monthly including feeding, transportation, utility bill, other people’s expenses (family) will take 270k, then 20k will be left in case of emergency before the next salary. Buying of clothes will only be possible if you practice opportunity cost on some of your other expenses.

If Nigeria economy is good, a salary earner of 250k naira should be able to buy a car. But currently it’s not possible… some years back, salary earners buy land and start building gradually but today, a salary earner can barely pay his rent or feed

And some people still believe Apc is doing Nigeria great… If Nigeria ever practice regional government, Yorubas will never allow Tinubu to rule them but they are happy he’s destroying Nigeria

lol. Tinubu that became president barely two years ago is why you’re poor and he’s also responsible for the inability of 95% of Nigerians to earn more than 500k? As in, do you guys think at all before posting craps like this?

You see all these Yahoo boys with flashy cars and mansions for a house, their maga abroad are mostly average citizens..

People that are poor abroad can make someone in Nigeria millionaire. That's to show you the difference between the standard of living and quality of life..

Tinubu and laptop boys have rendered the naira worthless.

The only thing that can save anyone now is to be looking for jobs that pay in USD.
