Troops Seize Rifles, 1,198 Rounds in Plateau Raid as Suspect Escapes Minutes Ahead

Troops of the 3 Division/Joint Task Force Operation Enduring Peace (JTF OPEP) uncovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a precision raid on a bandits’ hideout in Barkin Ladi LGA, Plateau State, The Bureau News learned on Sunday.

How the operation unfolded — Nigeria News Today

Acting on credible intelligence about weapons stockpiling, troops stormed a location in Rawaya Village, near Kazok. According to the JTF OPEP Media Information Officer, Major Samson Nantip Zhakom, the notorious suspect fled moments before arrival, but a thorough search followed.

What was recovered

* Two AK-47 rifles
* One G3 rifle
* One revolver pistol
* Four AK-47 magazines; Three G3 magazines
* 1,198 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition
* Four rounds of 7.62mm (NATO) ammunition
* Three mobile phones and other sundry items

Zhakom said the items are in military custody for further investigation, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspect and collaborators. He added that Operation Enduring Peace remains “decisive in its onslaught” to keep the Joint Operations Area safe.

First of all Israel does not fight terrorists, they have never faced any terrorist group before. Israel is the oldest and most sophisticated, funded terorist group in the history of man, they are the fathers of terorism, they where the very first terorists in history.

A soldier has like 10 or 30 bullets. How can you have hundreds of bullets and get captured? Why carry weapons when you are not willing to use it. The people disarming them knows what they are doing (making them more vulnerable to be ethnically cleanse).
