Well, my comment is not demeaning Morroco or Africa, its basically concerned with how Morocco can use the victory as a stepping stone to winning the world cup.

Congratulations to Morocco. Nigeria is not a serious footballing nation, we would have won this FIFA U20-championship before now, if not for coaches being financially induced, thereby making wrong selection. I recalled the 1985 U-20 squad, which has the likes of; Samson Siasia, Monday Odiaka, Andrew Uwe, Late Osaro Obobaifo, Kingsley Onye etc. and likewise the 2005 squad (Mikel Obi) era.......these generation of great players that also had what it takes to win it if not for a petit from Argentina, who later dominated the world stage. Not also forgetting the Daman miracle team(Saudi 89) that has the like of Chris Ohehen, Mutiu Adepoju, late Tunde Charity and Michael Onyemachara, Taiwo Enegwea, Emela Amadi etc with seasoned coaches like Tunde Disu and Samson Siasia. Today all we have are coaches that cares more about their pockets, e.g Eguavoen

Morocco is getting it right in all facets of football and I'm really envious of them. They have gradually developed their football through a system that works and perhaps FIFA football development academy set up there also helped it grow.
If there's any African country that can win the world cup sonner than later then that would be Morocco who have surpassed teams like Cameroon, Egypt and Nigeria before they even start going to the world cup.
It's also surprising that their women football has grown tremendously by getting to the wafcon final for an Arab nation who don't really value women .
Congratulations to Morocco and perhaps other African nations should go and understudy Morocco football and how they got it right.

Among the winners, are countries like Ghana (2009), Serbia (2015), Ukraine (2017) , Portugal (1989, and 1991) and the old USSR (1977) who have never won the world cup and are not likely to do so

Hence the point of my post....winning U20 means you got to do the hard work to step up, like Argentina, Brazil and France for example.

What is the correlation between your comments between a winner of a competition and who got to finals. He references who has won a competition and you are talking about who got to finals twice.
History don't remember who got to finals it's who wins that history remembers, if I ask you who was the finalist in 2018 world cup you may not remember but but you will always know the winner hence theres no basis to respond with finalist.
