Anyone with an iota of common sense knows the biggest beneficiaries of Nigeria are the Ibos. Zik knew this which is why he pushed for the things he pushed for.

Ibos are the only constituent of Nigeria that cannot survive within their zone. They don’t have the land, the job or market opportunities or the natural resources for their population.

Nobody leaves the comfort of home if he can get what he wants at home. Northerners don’t leave the North because they have all they need. Like wise other regions except the SE. More importantly, you don’t see others relocating to the SE…a man only leaves home to a place better or with more opportunities than where he is coming from.

All the jobs and businesses Ibos own outside Ibo land are jobs and business that would have been occupied by the hosts and that are not available for Ibos in the SE.

North east
South west
South south
South east.

Old western region
Old eastern region
And Northern region
