Once a man is married, the rest of you becomes extended family/relative, you have no say in his actions, he is only answerable to his own family, that's all.

I wonder if you will still maintain this position if the man happens to be your son and you are now cut out and your opinion doesn't matter to him anymore. I know you would say yes but it's easier said than done.

Op. Let this be an inspiration for you to work harder. Give yourself a year or two and lock in. Make sure you hustle your way out. If you can stay there while hustling, it’s nice but if you can’t, find a job that has accommodation if you’re out of school. Then save money and rent a room. It doesn’t need to be big.

Leave your siblings for now cos they’ll be a burden to you at this point maybe when you’re stable then you can come back.

Hustle like you have no one and stop waiting for your rights just yet. This will avoid further conflict and also will stop the woman from going diabolical.
