Transforming Awka to a city is a Herculean task. It may seem like mission impossible. At night, the town turns to a village. The beauty of Awka is along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway during the day only. It is such a weird town. From the Dora Akunyili Center to the back of the Government House all the way to UniZik Permanent site, one can easily mistake it for Angwan Rogo.
The only thing happening in Awka is UniZik. Many of those buildings in Awka are students' hostels and services that carter to students. Once students go on extended holidays or ASUU strike, the town shuts down almost completely.

Op, It's a good development but in terms of physical land area, Obudu Mountain Resort is much larger than Solution Fun City.
Solution Fun City occupies about 12.7 to 13 hectares (≈ 0.127 to 0.13 km²). Even Hi-Impact Planet in Ibafo, Ogun State occupies about 18.5 hectares (≈ 46 acres). It's an amusement park in the South West just like Solution Fun City.
Obudu covers tens to a hundred km²; Solution Fun City covers only a fraction of a km². Solution Fun City is not the largest recreational facility in Nigeria according to your post. Research properly to avoid misleading information.

The way the Chinese do it is to basically build up new areas and then start bringing down the old areas.
But it starts with a well drawn masterplan by good town planners.
As long as there is no good town planning and the laws on city developments are vague, the whole place will look out of sort..

Gov Soludo employed 8300 teachers, 1500, medical personnel, empowered more than twenty thousand youths through youths skills acquisition training programs, the Kaolin processing company he built in Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area Ndi-Anambra are working there, The Solution Fun City Nigerians are working there, the new Awka Mall which will be commission before the end of this month the anchor tenants has employed many Nigerians that will work with them.

I despise Soludo politics but he is doing a wonderful job in Anambra State and I am confident he will finish very strong. Leave Obi out of this matter. Obi is our legend but Soludo is also one of our own

You are a liar. Awka is the best Igbo city. Awka is better than the glorified village Owerri and Umuahia. Awka is a beautiful city both night and day and have beautiful night life. Awka has expanded massively. City of Awka is bubbling with activities from hospitality to entertainment and now the fun city which is the only of its type in Igboland has continued to attract visitors from all over the southeast. Awka millennium city is the single most planned and modern city in Igboland. Awka is the hospitality capital of Igboland. Awka has the widest inner city road in Igboland. This road is not express but inner city roads.

Please don't tell us about the 500m Abakiliki street that "psychophants" brag about.

Where do we even start? Awka is a mess. Aerial view of Awka may look appealing until you drive into the town. For sure, Soludo couldn't even transform Awka to 0.0000000000000000000000000000001% of Dubai/Taiwan claim.

Truth is that Soludo seems to have glaringly run out of ideas.. It's frustrating to watch.
Administration no be beans..
To be a good governor or president, you need to have a strong vision anchored on strong self beleifs.. Then you need to get the best minds to manage those visions by objectives, in order to transform the visions into realities..

Soludo might want the best for Anambra state. He might have the skills to do so.

But he seem desperately running short of a real plan to work with.
You work with a plan. If he has to borrow, let him borrow because even if he doesn't borrow just to score cheap political points, the next guy to take over will do so..., and the next guy might be a crook..

He is doing the roads, yes. But are the of the "Dubai" quality that he promised? No!
Fun city! The private sector can't do this?

Where is the Awka masterplan?
Where is the plan for the water treatment facility at Onitsha?
How about a serious plan for an integrated power project?
Onitsha main market is an eyesore! Are we going to leave it at the same state it has been since the end of the war?

Any plans on regional economic integrations in the east with his fellow eastern governors?
When are we seeing high-rises to match the exploding population of hardworking men in Anambra? I mean, even the new APC recruit at Enugu has such plans..
What about the "clusters of industries" in and around Awka, Nnewi and Onitsha
