I said it from the beginning. The best lawyers in Nigeria are the Yorubas, sentiment aside. If Kanu had gotten an Afe Babalola or Wole Olanipekun, he would have since walked. Wisdom is profitable to direct my brother. We should be wise. How can a lawyer that is handling a case that the prosecutor has concluded his submission and it's left for the defence counsel to take over go on the street to protest. It's either he's not interested in concluding the case or he knows that he has a bad case. I expect the trial judge to lambast him and/or exclude him from being part of the defence team. I have said it that there are people that are close to Kanu that don't want this case to end. It's a gold mine to them.
