What you stated, true as it is, is only half or part of the problem! The other issue concerns how they open the floodgates for their kinsfolk to walk into Nigeria from other parts of west and central Africa without let or hindrance, all in a bid to increase their population! This has been going on from as far back as pre-independence and there’s a noticeable increase during election or census periods!

The Hausa-Fulani indigenous to Nigeria are almost indistinguishable from their west and central Africa cousins! They feel more of a connection with one another based on religious and tribal affiliation than they feel with other Nigerian indigenous ethnic groups!
