Excellent performance, happier to see Gykores finally get back to scoring, can’t imagine the pressure. He looks like a mentally strong guy. God abeg, crown our efforts with serious trophy this season. This team look like they really want it. |

The left wing was 🔥 Gyokeres blood go calm down now, I believe he would start thinking right and not over think simple things. Martinelli is my motm. Who got the official man of the match sef?. Has anyone seen Athletico conceive these amount of goals in less than 15 minutes?, cus since I started following football I haven't. Game 3 without any shot on target conceived. Nice one. |

Roland17:Absolutely my person. It is my prayer point all the times. Arteta has earned it if we are to be real here. |

Spy360:You are absolutely wrong. In his 6th year, there is no justification for Arteta to remain trophyless outside of the FA Cup he won in his first season. A page ago you were essentially discrediting the purchase of Gykores just to fit your agenda. We have a deeper squad now doesn’t translate into lack of investment in previous seasons. If anything it points to mismanagement of the squad, resources and transfer. The team is on a roll, let’s celebrate and focus on winning serious trophies with this squad. |

This Zubimedi is an upgrade of Thomas Partey with the few games I have watched. The guy is very confident on the ball and he hardly make wrong passes. The scout really did an excellent work getting him. |

This Saliba/ Gabu partnership may go down in history as one of the best CB pairings in the EPL/ Europe if they continue like this. Especially if they can win deserved trophies. Las las Saliba na mad man when it comes to activating goal celebrations. Baba na something else at this point! |

When i saw them I knew they were familiar but couldn't place where. Ted Lasso and coach beard. Very soon Arteta go follow up.

germaphobe:I like that boy, thats why it really pained me for his form last season. I noticed that too, he's got three goals in our UCL campaign so far and I noticed he doesn't hug the wing unlike before, maybe due to how free he's instructed to play now and it's really helping him |

Gyokores with MOTM Martinelli now our highest goalscorer this season, followed closely by Gyokores. Just like last season, Inter and Arsenal again are yet to concede a goal after 3 games. Inter broke that record i think. Both teams have faced the fewest shots as well(7) Red just full all the games. Many wanted Haram football but i believe the opposite would happen considering, Simeone is yet to win Away so far this season. Last season many opined, including many of us here, that it was better we faced Real and not Atletico. Looks like the outcome would have been way way bigger for us if we met them at that stage. That GM goal was a trademark goal. He used to do one touch goals before. Then he stopped and Trossard became the one touch guy. I hope he keeps it up throughout this season. Ucl commentator pronounce Eze more correctly than the EPL ones. Irony. They say something like Eh-Zah instead of Eh-Zay in EPL🤦🏽♂️😂 |

Spy360:Board ke... I think the board were ready to spend but we didn't have a certain 'Berta'. That Brazilian fraud came with so much expectations but na barbecue baba go dey fry till window closes. |

Shegzdave:And you know what.. Most of his goals are vintage goals. His goal yesterday reminds me of Henry's signature finish then. |

mostob:A board that wants to pend does not need anyone to show for it. Edu will not be saving money that he won't use. Last year, we had to sell two players to fix the squad. It later affected us when injuries hit the squad. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 8:10am On Oct 22, 2025 |
Roland17:No I haven't discredited the purchase of Gyokeres. Rather I have defended his performances. You cannot talk of mismanagement of funds when there no funds released. Tell me a season in the past 3 apart from last window that we signed players without having to sell first. |

We need that big trophy.. Something must cap off all these beautiful stats and performances.

Spy360:What if the board are not convinced with how Edu is spending the funds. As an investor your sef, if your investment is not showing workings, you'll start hoarding funds. |

mostob:Exactly, funny how he's our highest goal scorer in all competition, someone that we could've sold ooo...how table turns ![]() that his goal against city was also fantastic Also, I'll commend Arteta on how he uses him now(knows when to bring him as a sub or starter), shows his faith in the lad |

Shegzdave:Isn't gyokeres our highest goal scorer? 3 goal in the league and 2 in the champions League= 5 Matinelli: 1 goal in the league and 3 in the champions League= 4 |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 11:36am On Oct 22, 2025 |
daveP:Ok. I said that Gyokeres does not need to score goals to be effective. That's because as a CF in an Arteta tactical set up, he also has a role of pinning down CBs and so creating spaces for those around him to thrive. Take for example, Martinelli's goal yesterday, you will see that clearly. Even his goals were as a result of rebounds. So, Gyokeres is doing well. It is those who don't understand how Arteta plays that will think because he wasn't scoring so he is playing poorly. Those people are the itibolibos that also criticised Havertz. They are the ones who were calling for a striker when we were scoring goals, not for depth but because they think Havertz wasn't scoring enough. |

mostob:This is now based on assumptions. I am not privy to what happens in the board room. But I know that if money was released, spending it should not be a problem. I also know that at a time Arteta had to question their ambitions. It will be hard for me to accept that Edu was the problem. FYI, Edu moved for Zubimendi. He also had a preagreement for Sesko. Etc. |

Spy360:You are being disingenuous in your attempt to defend Arteta. Funds not released but Arteta has spent 1.3B? He was sitting at over 900M before this season's signings. Who did we have to sell in 2023/2024 season to raise funds to sign Rice (record signing), Havertz, Raya and Timber? Did we not sell players this season as well? |
