When the country operates on different laws from different regions in the same country, then what do you think will happen, everyone takes laws into their hands provided they head there.
So if they like let them wed and if not they can vacate there jurisdiction.

For me i can't live in the north it's never a sin nor crime to choose where to live, you can see northerners running away from their land and residing in another states, maybe it's becos of all this petty problems because little problems accumulating becomes bigger disturbing issues.

I think they acted a skit together and the sharia police found their acts morally offensive. Hence, they got a judgement for them to be forcefully married.

It has happened in Kano where hisbah arrested non Muslims in sabon gari and dragged them to sharia court because of what again, haircuts. These talk of sharia does not affect non Muslims don cast since 1900.

Some Northerners often mix egocentric , religion, selfishness, bias etc with profession.

Forcing to adult to marry without each others consent is out of profession.
