To be fair, I wasn't aware of the other family appointments but none the less, we have to question the intent and motive. I don't and will never support sharing of common wealth to family and friends at the detriment of the people. However, the appointment in particular after deep consideration isn't a bad one. Davido is a brand that has huge potentials to impact sport sector of that state. He may not be an active athlete of sport man but he has friends in that space that love his music and are his big fans. We have seen him in dressing rooms of many sports interacting with them in some occasions and many of them are his friends. So why not if not. One thing I respect Davido for is his mindset and disposition which is we rise by lifting others and he has shown that times without number. He is friends to billionaires. His godfather is Dangote, dont forget, abi you don forget that one. When it comes to resources, he is not going to steal because he has more than enough already. We will monitor him on abuse of power and privileges though cos for people like him, that's the crux of the matter but till then, he is perfect for the job cos he can help pull out funds from places unexpect. Even Wike go donate, if I know Davido well. He did it with his Wema stunt back then and raised over N500m and donated it to orphans. So he is more than enough for the role, and I believe he will deliver.
However, where he begins to get it wrong, be sure I will be at the fore front to get him out, and with regards to other family appointments, I will give my honest opinion after my own finding but I can't blame him. This didn't start with him, even the president is more than guilty of this and we very aware of the intent. So we can't blame him in entirety, but I really dont encourage sharing political positions and affluence to families and friends. It corrupts but let us see how davido goes. I trust and believe in him to deliver.

I don't know about earlier appointments but the appointment of Davido is to help attract funds to the sports sector. It's for Davido to bring in his friends and colleagues to contribute to sports development of the state.

Mr Man most of us get where you're coming from. But David wasn't appointed chairman of the sports commission which is been held by the deputy governor. But was appointed for the sports trust fund, and that in my opinion is using his influence to draw sponsorship and funds to the commission
