Sheuns:You have a valid point, but he might not have such influence he has in football because most other clubs may likely not give him a free hand like he had there. If Victor can replicate Maradonna in Turkey, he may go far. Just imagine winning UEFA with his team...he don win best player be that. |

Love800:He wanted the Premiership. His agents held talks with a couple but none could meet the terms of Napoli and his compensation. His game is perfect for the Premiership. Decent skills, high work rate and tempo. My only doubt is his legs which are rather brittle. |

Another goal father after yekini?....Osimhen is the best thing to happen to Nigeria's football recently. |
| Re: UCL: Osimhen Broke Two Records And Made History In Galatasaray Win by Love800(m): 8:24am On Oct 23, 2025 |
Yea... you wrote well though. First... Psg has always been an average club till date. It was just last season when they collected the champions League trophy that they gained a little recognition. What records did kanu made in inter milan and arsenal! And was it consistently? The same with osimhen too. How consistent is he to remain in Napoli and big clubs to keep creating records! Why always moving away after a stint. He just won the Italian league with highest goal scorer, and next thing he disappeared. Is it a crime to remain there and keep making records! Cant you work harder to go to another big league! Don't tell me those deluded stuff that always happens behind the scenes that make their nigerian players deal not to always pull through! You and i know why! epainos: |

Osimhen always remains a good player to me. But they always shy away from where the media concentrate on. Why? I don't need you to answer though. Its always sad seeing our players wasting away in farm leagues! HeraldAgric01: |

Am not talking about only the premier league. Am referring to the big-five leagues(you know dem). Yes he stayed top of his striking game in France and Italy, but why can't he continue! Why cant he be consistent while at ligue 1 and serie A! Why always running away! Cant he stay and be creating more impression! Why the farm leagues for our players! The strikers that epl signed that are not proving worth, its not anything actually. At least its an honour and value to grace the big leagues. And by the way, talking about isak sef(i know am deviating here), dis is just his first season. I hate it when fans especially nigerian fans always criticize players negatively in their first debut in their respective new clubs. The base line still remains nigerian players always fear challenges. Iheanacho na vex me pass sef! Angelfrost: |

Love800:No you don't study anything! A player that did well in France(of course,French club side won the last champions league), Italy and still doing well in Turkey;(three different countries) all you could say is "he is a local champion". Are you smarter and richer that the owners of the football clubs that have paid millions for his services in the past years? CR7 that's doing well in Saudi Arabian league currently,if you had any means to "rubbish" him,you would have termed him a local champion. Nothing will satisfy you. |

Till now you don't still know why i said osimhen is a local champion! I should be the one asking you whether you understand football! LagosOrigin: |

favour32: ...and possibly shift the goal post to Osimhen has not played for Bendel Insurance!I understand you joor. People of that category are impossible to please and are never happy with themselves even when they achieve stellar performance! So you expect them to be happy with people who is breaking records? |

Why are their deals not always going through! Maybe we should bring the debate to Monday night football studio program anchored by that guy(i have forgotten his name) together with victor ikpeba and one other football writer. They should tell us why our nigerian players deals never go through with big clubs, and what always happens behind the scenes! Adeoye11: |

robosky02:Victor Osimhen is a complete striker, a top 9 that charges defenders bully them to collect the ball the 3rd goal in the match is supposed to be an Hatrick for him but he was never stingy to give the pass, those words he said is actually what he is doing at the pitch he earned my respect ✊🏿 I like him not because he is a Nigerian but he knows how to deliver his role as a striker 👏👏👏 |
