Yes, the solution to this problem is simple...herdsmen should stop roaming around with cows.

This is not the Nigeria of the 1940's when there were just 40 million of us, and herdsmen could be chill with farmers, and even joke around with them...this is Nigeria of 2025, with 230 million people, and far more farmers than 1940.

Time to do ranches...but people no go hear, because you will soon hear a fulani screaming about how their forefathers ....lol

Also, fulanis carrying guns is because they have been attacked by farmers, boko and bandits. And then throw in the fact that we have a police force whose funding is a joke (before corruption)...

Anyway, change got to come from bottom up.

And nowhere did I say that fulani herdsmen are justified in their attacks....or that igbos , or that tinubu is fantastic. LOL.

most Nigerians online are in Lekki feeling like the insecurity will never touch them

Nigerians will continue to suffer the consequences of allowing Buhari to become president in 2015. Those 8 years not only destroyed this country, but also built a dark future for this country. embarassed
Fulani herdsmen wahala predates buhari coming into power. Already by 1993, there were reports of violence between herders and farmers in old Borno state.

Matters got worse when Ghaddafi was overthrown. TV pics showed the Libyan army amoury being raided. By 2013, we were seeing problems

If you want to blame Buhari, also blame past governments for not doing more about the border, and for not even doing basic land management, or funding the police better. Under GEJ, his supporters were blaming the North for everything bad, including herdsmen, and then blaming buhari and now tinubu for doing nothing about it..(which is one of many reasons why I can't vote for opposition candidates because of them people. Same reason why I don't like buhari or tinubu supporters..they blame everyone but their man)

But I digress...tinubu is not even treating this with the seriousness it needs treating, plus the police is still scantily funded, and there is no special task force to even face the issue.

His anger over recent happenings in his community took the better part of him. But only a fool argues with the man with a gun.

Nigerians deserve more than this... lives and destinies should not be uncontrollably wasted...

We can stop this impunity of insecurity, corruption, economic collapse, and many more... when we make the resolve to do so...

GOD has done HIS part and still willing... the decision to make progress now rest in our hands...

I share my heart felt condolence to the family and friends of the slain patroit...

This is just bad.
Really bad.
Honestly these are symptoms of a failed state.
People should have no confidence whatsoever that this government can protect the.
None at all.

That soldier must be new in Nigeria, that's example of lack of intelligence!
Is it not better to pass that information to the state government !

Zinubu takes advise from wyte billionaires that want the black race extinct.

it is the secret leaders of the democratic party of the YOU:ESS:HEY that are also controlling the Nigerian government because they are the ones that allow criminals to commit crimes and still be free...

you will notice that after the handshake between Zobama and Zuhari and after PDP lost presidential power it became a crime to defend yourself..

that is the same problem in some states in YOU:ESS:HEY.

How dare he confront the 'untouchables'?
'Herders' parading freely with AK47 rifles!
There are military, Police etc in Kwara State but they never bother the armed herders because of the special recognition and status bestowed on them by the FG.
R.I.P soldier! You got served the Nigeria dose.

I'm afraid there is no such thing.

There is nothing inherently respectable in soldiering. Every other profession or vocation may also demand this 'respect' that soldiers can't live without - and that demand would be justified.
