I'm of the opinion that striking a good deal is a complicated process. It might look like a good move but not sanctioned cause the agent or current club refuse to bugde. Player's personal terms might not be met. Then there is a "look before you leap" factor for the player. An example is Ademola Lookman's situation at Atalanta. Would Harry Kane or Jude Bellingham be treated the way they treated African best?. His time will come when a good deal is signed.
Love800:
Osimhen always remains a good player to me. But they always shy away from where the media concentrate on.
Why?
I don't need you to answer though.
Its always sad seeing our players wasting away in farm leagues!

Do we put an “s” on past tenses?
E.g she decideds to go .
I think broke is past verb and doesn’t need an “s”
Third person singular present tense

Osimhen is still a local champion!

He should come to premier-league and be breaking these records!

Nigeria players always fearing challenges.

Look at okocha, as good as he is, he couldn't play for any good club. Always average clubs!

His boy ronaldinho shined and made many records!
But he dissolved Liverpool na? Lol “come to premiere league” the same premier league haaland has been nailing since he came?

Inferiority complex is your problem. Go and feel good about yourself brother. We are not the cause for your height nor are we the cause of your life woes.

Galatasaray is not an average club mind you. They are in Champions league—doing wonders.

Yea... you wrote well though.

First... Psg has always been an average club till date. It was just last season when they collected the champions League trophy that they gained a little recognition.
Did you know who played in PSG during Okocha? Okocha and Dinho were there. Should I mention more?

What records did kanu made in inter milan and arsenal!
And was it consistently?
What record did Ronaldo Nazario make in Barca? What record also did Maradona make in Barca also? Despite their excellent performances in both clubs, you know them with Real Madrid and Napoli respectively. Kanu had a heart problem in Inter Milan and the rule was that such a player couldnt play in the league. He had to move to where he could play. Inter payed for his medicals and even made profit when they sold him to Arsenal. They wanted to keep him, but the Italia Seria doesn't allow it till date. Check out Christian Eriksen too...The premier league still allow players with implantable cardioverter-defibrillator.

The same with osimhen too. How consistent is he to remain in Napoli and big clubs to keep creating records!
He wasn't consistent, yet they didn't want to release him. Lol. They won the league again because of Osimhen. Donyou know when they won it last? Maradonna's. Lol. Osimhen brought money and they signed more good players. Football is business first sir. Obviously, you don't know the reason Victor left Napoli.

Why always moving away after a stint. He just won the Italian league with highest goal scorer, and next thing he disappeared. Is it a crime to remain there and keep making records!
Cant you work harder to go to another big league!
Don't tell me those deluded stuff that always happens behind the scenes that make their nigerian players deal not to always pull through!
You and i know why!
Chai! You want Victor to remain in Napoli? Are you even on this earth? Let me pretend like you didn't ask this question.
Also, Victor was injured at a time. Do you know how long it took him to be back? Victor that all opponents wan break his legs. Lol. Na Italia Serie A oooo. A very brutal league. Very wicked defenders. But after he returned, he kept scoring. Sebi Lakuku or wetin be his name. Lakaka, Lukulu... grin... yeah I remember... Lukaku who replaced him dey fire goals....right?

Bro, football isn't easy. Let's be honest.

Why are their deals not always going through!

Maybe we should bring the debate to Monday night football studio program anchored by that guy(i have forgotten his name) together with victor ikpeba and one other football writer. They should tell us why our nigerian players deals never go through with big clubs, and what always happens behind the scenes!
That's a good suggestion though.
Would love to be part anyways

epainos:
You have a valid point, but he might not have such influence he has in football because most other clubs may likely not give him a free hand like he had there. If Victor can replicate Maradonna in Turkey, he may go far. Just imagine winning UEFA with his team...he don win best player be that.
Galatasaray can't win the Champions league looking at the big wigs still in the competition. It isn't impossible, but would require a great deal of determination with some level of luck.

It's seems Victor Osimhen has learnt how to be humble by carrying his teammates along for his achievements.
This is a good steps of someone that will go far in his career.
He has been like that even when playing in the under 17. Seems you don't know him well .

He will still sit on the bench when Brighton comes this weekend.

That's all well and good... But, why spend such a huge amount on him if his services are not needed?!!

Money wey una for use take sign Baleba or Wharton to help or bench Casemiro for that midfield, while using Zirkzee or Cunha upfront.

Love800:
Am not talking about only the premier league.
Am referring to the big-five leagues(you know dem).

Yes he stayed top of his striking game in France and Italy, but why can't he continue!
Why cant he be consistent while at ligue 1 and serie A! Why always running away! Cant he stay and be creating more impression!
Why the farm leagues for our players!

The strikers that epl signed that are not proving worth, its not anything actually.
At least its an honour and value to grace the big leagues.

And by the way, talking about isak sef(i know am deviating here), dis is just his first season. I hate it when fans especially nigerian fans always criticize players negatively in their first debut in their respective new clubs.

The base line still remains nigerian players always fear challenges.

Iheanacho na vex me pass sef!
Bro, you need to keep up with actual facts surrounding these players not merely relying on hearsay.

Osimhen had absolutely no desire or initial plan to spend anything less than 3 to 5 seasons with Napoli... He was practically their Wonder kid! A good luck charm they are yet to replace till date.

They struggled to win games without him, and only narrowly won the league last season because Inter chose to loosen their grip or were distracted with UCL ambition.

Now, Napoli has lost 2 consecutive games woefully (their recent UCL game was a shocking annihilation).

The club mistreated, and placed him on the market with a hefty price tag...! What was he supposed to do?!! Kneel down and beg them after the disregard and disrespectful behaviour?!!

EPL clubs were queuing up to sign him, but Napoli chose to remain a barrier with their unreasonable demands and valuation. Only Turkey and Middle East could meet them.

Even you know he would have been going toe to toe with Haaland if he had come to the EPL.

Lol... I just replied somebody on the matter above.

Osimhen is blessed beyond words... The best export from Naija since Okocha, Kanu and Yekini era.

Maybe EPL doesn't want a black striker dominating their league again, doing another Thierry Henry.
Re: UCL: Osimhen Broke Two Records And Made History In Galatasaray Win by frog12: 3:12pm On Oct 23, 2025
i wish am well.
they don't want to pay him.

HeraldAgric01:
The premier league is afraid of Osimhen. He's still young and when he eventually moves to the Premier league (if he wants), the league will feel it. The guy is a natural /complete goal scorer. Scores with both legs and head. I wish Man utd had gotten him, our front line would have been lethal.

The way e take hard Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy, Sergio Aguero, Mo Salah, or the Wizkid himself, Haaland?!!

Leave that matter... Give Osimhen unselfish ball crossing and accurate passing players like Pedri, Debruyne, and TAA, make I see how he won't be scoring minimum of 25 - 30 goals every single season.

No you don't study anything!
A player that did well in France(of course,French club side won the last champions league), Italy and still doing well in Turkey;(three different countries)
all you could say is "he is a local champion".
Are you smarter and richer that the owners of the football clubs that have paid millions for his services in the past years?
CR7 that's doing well in Saudi Arabian league currently,if you had any means to "rubbish" him,you would have termed him a local champion.
Nothing will satisfy you.
