Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Thursday, News360 Nigeria reports.

The music star shared photos of the high-profile meeting on his verified Instagram page, expressing gratitude for the opportunity.

Davido was accompanied by his associates, including popular businessman Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, and his manager, Asa Asika.

The photos captured a friendly exchange between Davido and President Macron, reflecting mutual respect and enthusiasm.

In his post, Davido wrote, “It was an honor meeting @emmanuelmacron and sharing our visions for a better world.”

Some of you on NL are suffering from chronic low self-esteem.

From the way Davido sat with Macron and posed outside with him, it is obvious that it was a visit. If you didn't know, Macron is very familiar with Nigeria. He was working in the French Embassy in Nigeria few years ago. The last time he came to Nigeria, he visited Fela's shrine in Lagos and made it known that it was not his first time visiting there.

President Emmanuel Macron was on a diplomatic tour of duty in Nigeria for his country back in the early 2000s and it's good to see that he has maintained those ties on several fronts with his last visit to Lagos State and Femi Kuti's "New Africa Shrine" in Ikeja where a stellar team of folks were in attendance when Akinwunmi Ambode was the Governor of Lagos State.
