Mathewrichard99:Mr Sinister, how much accountability did you get from your Governors and LG in the past with the little funds they were collecting?. Now, that they are collecting more, to hold them to account has become a big problem to you. What you people know how to do best is to always complain |

The rate at which you guys keep displaying ignorance on issues of governance baffles me many times. There's a provision for community based development committee that oversee's the day to day activities of PHC's in our respective political wards across the country and it's membership includes the members of the community . They have an account that receives direct funding from the federal government and the management of that account it's collective which makes issues of monitoring very simple. Call to your village and ask... |

merits:Why can't you take your imaginary 1M to the Primary health care center close to your local government and use it to donate equipments to them and then use the opportunity to ask them how they used the funds Government gave them. That's how to do things, use your common sense, keyboard warrior. |

How would they monitor the funds when the system isn't transparent and objective? Several whistleblowers are not finding it easy for being patriotic. |

why just complain and not have trust in any good development, besides must we be reminded that there's something called 'civic duties'? "He who must seek equity must do equity" Lets open our minds even as we criticize, everything should not be seen as bad and lies. |

oz4real83:A classic case of ignorance and illiteracy. FG is asking you to do what is your civic responsibility but you are calling them failed for telling you what to do. All over the world citizens hold elected officials responsible for how they spend. But here if not FG we are not interested. Shameful. Below are a few screenshots from my town and how they constantly hold elected officials accountable. Nobody waits for the central government. Keep sleeping and wait for things to get better.

wellmax:Do those citizens in those places you mentioned carry out jungle justice on those found wanting or they hand them over to govt institutions to prosecute? Do the govt of those places you mentioned grant pardon to unrepentant criminals? A minister with forged certificate just resigned due to pressure from the public, won't the govt of those places you mentioned take it upon themselves to prosecute such individual? Will the Nigerian govt do the same? Stop displaying your ignorance. |
