I don't have celebrity crush on him but I like the fact that he is a hardworking and prolific musician in spite of being a son of a billionaire.

Yes! Davido may have many good qualities however, he may not be suitable for governor because of some certain factors.

Does he know the duty of a Governor?
Does he desire to uplift the economy and wellbeing of his people?
Does he have the willingness to be fair to all and the strength to resist contrary pressures?

I agree with you to an extent. However, democracy is a game of number and a popularity test. In democracy, a POPULAR tout down the road will easily beat an unpopular professor. That's the harsh reality.
