For sure, that data is incorrect. America has far more homeless people than Nigeria. Everywhere you go in the states has homeless people. I never see someone homeless in Nigeria for economic reason, na the mad/ druggies/touts people dey homeless for Nigeria. At least they go just dey owe rents and begging or commit crime.

I don't believe this stat. Why are most of the numbers round figures with exception of two? What's the source of their data? Lagos and Kano being the most popular states in Nigeria can't have 500k homeless each. You most find homeless people in the cities not villages.

By the way, I don't like the way Nigeria handles its demographic data. There's so much exaggerated information out there. And many other underreported. Some people just cook up data to get funding and then corner the monies without addressing any gaps.

They go just comot from their village because they hear say money dey Lagos, Zero plans, zero strategy, zero education, zero money, Just jump into a night bus, come to Lagos sleep on the streets rob innocent people and complain about smelling drainages

people in idp alone is more than 4.5m all over the country and these people are homeless. China and India population is over 3 billion, the combined population of the homeless in these two countries are 4.2m less than that of Nigeria with 200m population with homeless of 4.5m. Something is wrong with Nigeria. People are continuing to be sacked from there homes mostly christians and Fulanis usually takeover such communities, instead of solving it, government and southerners would say is not true. Most Muslims killed in the north is as a result of the fight between hausa and Fulanis, Fulanis are killing hausas while Fulanis are killing christians and taking over their homes.
