Leave who want to contest to contest and stop Blasphemy….For god sake…if you know Jonathan will be disgrace if he contest why are you begging him not to contest or do you think Nigerians are foolish to the extend to know you are jittery that he will beat Tinubu before 12 in the election day…all those South South Governors that decamp to APc will work for Jonathan…the North trust him more than your agbero leader and even the world powers will support him…let him just make an announcement that he will run for the presidency…Tinubu will faint 💯

If there were never allies, why is he then sending Tompolo to beg Jonathan not to contest? Why has Festus Keyamo, Bayo Onanuga and Co turned themselves into emergency legal advisers of Jonathan trying to talk him out of contesting? Jonathan and Tinubu are not allies and are in different parties, he should quit going through corners and prepare to meet Jonathan and all other candidates at the polls instead of using state powers to prevent them all from contesting against him.
Even Jonathan contest, he will not even get 25% votes in 24 states.

Make e no waste his resources

If he contested this time I will vote against him. I and my people voted for him the last time he contested but we won't vote him this time around.

Pressure, what Pressure? It's rather an advice. What did Jonathan leave in Aso Rock?
The who used him and sold him out the first time are the ones trying to use him for the 2nd and they will still probably sell him out.

There's always the first time. GEJ has to be dissuaded from contesting, because the people who are pushing for his candidature are doing, not because they think he can win, but they want to fragment the votes of the South, so that Atiku can have his way. Oga, e no go work.
Atiku having his way is better for all of us
Abeg lets try something else

“Stakeholders in the Niger Delta believe President Tinubu has done a lot for the region — from the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway to the new university in Ogoni land."

A lot indeed.

The master strategist's only pathway to victory is to run unopposed. He is using a combination of begging, threats, disenfranchisement, subterfuge, sabotage and infiltration of other political parties to stop them from fielding candidates. He's already using the national assembly to apply pressure on Jonathan by probing his 90 billion naira CCTV Chinese loans. Jonathan was also conspicuously replaced with Osinbajo as an ECOWAS election observer to Ivory Coast. Master strategist una!
say the tribe that destroyed GEJ.

For your information GEJ will be daft to contest. In as much as we know he won’t. So
Back to the truth, the Igbos had a hand in his loss. If your memory serves u right, u were doing sit at home on the elections where you not?

Not a single part of Nigeria is having anything better under this questionable character with an untraceable identity - unless you are referring to that "part" of Nigeria which consists strictly of businessmen-politicians.

Even if Jona ran and came back, the good times will.not come.back.

Even if assuming tinubu won and oil went up to 159 per barrel, a lot of the revenue would be lost paying off debts

Only leader Nigeria needs is one who will make our economy dependent on manufacturing and exporting manufactured goods and services.

GEJ, tinubu , even obi are not it.

Nigerians should not vote for apc again abeg
So who should they vote for?

Wike indeed, delivered Rivers to Tinubu but the people of Rivers never voted for Tinubu. So, Akpabio couldn't even deliver his state? Didn't the people of Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom know it was "Southern turn" when they voted Atiku, a Northerner under the PDP in 2023? Proves my theory that Tinubu is unsellable in the South beyond Yorubaland.
Your theory is correct. He is not sellable anywhere in the South apart from SW, the SS and SE will never vote for him and the only way he can ever hope to win any State in SS is by blatant rigging like Wike did in Rivers state. Of course, SE is out of the question, I don't think that even the most delulu APC supporter expects Him to win a state in SE. As it stands, even with all the defections, if Tinubu can not get at least half of the votes he got in the north in the last election, then there would be a new president come 2027.

As it is, whoever ADC gives the ticket would very likely be the next president. If they give it to Obi, he will win by a landslide, but if they give it to Atiku, then he will marginally win because Obi contesting with LP will win both APC and ADC in South but will lose the North to ADC. The battle ground for ADC and LP in this scenario would be the SS and North Central. Whoever wins these regions will be the declared winner.

At least this is the way I see it.

This is why I consider a lot of Nigerians literate but uneducated. Most of you just know how to write in English language but uneducated and unarticulated enough to properly express your views and opinions when questions are thrown at you.

You're telling me to read about Dutch disease ( of course you don't have the slightest idea who you're talking to) and about resource dependent economy as if it's some kind of a pilgrimage journey where a promised Messiah presidential candidate would be revealed at the end of the journey.

You obviously have a candidate who you have made up your mind to vote for, but you're lacking the confidence to mention their name.

Well , good morning and have a good day too

I don't have a candidate. Usually, I vote for a party that is not pdp or apc , or even anyone that is not tinubu, obi and atiku

Sadly none of the politicans in Nigeria have any idea of how to sort out our problems

Which is why I insist on you reading about dutch disease.

But since ...ah well, good morning again

Asiwaju didn't betray GEJ, because they were never allies. The only time their paths crossed was in 2011 and Osun, the biggest voting bloc in the South West was delivered to President Jonathan, as part of the deal, even at the expense of Ribadu's failed presidential bid. The alliance of ACN/CPC in 2013 was a child of necessities.
Lessons were learnt thereafter.
Yorubas are always only clever by half, double standard people, . You need to explain ' lessons learnt'. That now the north are no more worthy allies?.. I tell you ,the Yoruba demigod of politics is too small to checkmet the north even with the elites of the North that he has empowered. He has only 10 months now to show the North that he appreciates our previous support. By delivering the Lokoja down to Kano express road real commitment to the Mambilahydro power project in Taraba, ,real work at Kolmani Oil fields , AKK gas line project and Abuja to Kano to daura standard rail line.and most importantly Agriculture support. Northern elites can't deliver votes when northern sentiments/opinions are hostile. GEJ also had elite support and state power.

Either u don’t live in Nigeria, or u are just empty barrel talking in self deceit.

Which opposition?, 2 years to election we cannot even point to any credible option in Nigeria, by next year the LP through Abure will endorse Tinubu for a second term, Pdp is in tatters, Adc a party filled with runaway disgruntled APC members that will betray the party @ the last minute?

Politics is a dirty game, it goes far what is seen by the ordinary people who are third eye blind, to child like minded ones, Tinubu got to Aso Rock by mistake, to same people like yourself that swore with your lives, that Tinubu will never win the 2023 general election.

Bola Tinubu is not your mate, or the so called opposition’s mate in the game of politics.

Allow them to continue to bury their heads in the sand. After Northerners voted for him in good faith, expecting him to rule equitably with fairness and justice, he betrayed all his most loyal Northern allies and still cornered everything to only his own SW region (not even the entire South). Agbadorians now claim he deceived the North by pretending to be sick because Northerners thought he would die in power. If that were the case, wouldn't it have been better to vote Atiku in 2023? He had better succeed in deceiving the entire South to queue behind his candidacy. Heads or tail, he's toast.
