Guyz please I have applied for south africa e visa 3 times now and have been rejected in a row, the first was via dha they said my bank statement was not certified even though there was a reference letter(apart from the referenceletter being signed the bankstatementwas not stamped) from my access bank manager attached to it. The 2nd was via vfssaonline they said my bank statement(referenceletter, bank statementwith the first and last page stamped and signed) was invalid and tampered with same with the third via vfssaonline reference letter signed and all pages if bank statement stamped and signed yet I was still rejected on the basis of invalid and tampered bank statement. I'm so confused as to what I'm getting wrong |

Avoid eVisa, it's a scam. That's all i can say. Do a physical submission it comes out now in about a week or two worst case. AriyikeFawole: |

Africankel:Lol, sometimes VFS staff dey do oversabi. I've had issues with them multiple times when they argue what's clearly written. The official requirement is 3months

| Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Africankel(m): 4:02am On Oct 26, 2025 |
080bjaked:No be oversabi, it is clearly stated on the official checklist from the High Commission. Abuja is 6 months, while Lagos and PH is 3 months. The information can be found on VFS website as attached. The checklist you have shared is for applicants in South Sudan.

Hello house, I submitted and paid for the tourist eVisa on 13 October 2025 via the DHA portal. I was able to successfully make payment and upload all the required supporting documents, each now shows a check mark beside it. However, my application status has remained “Awaiting Supporting Documents” since then. I reached out to the Department of Home Affairs (hacc@dha.gov.za) last week but haven’t received a response yet. I’m concerned that my application may not be progressing because the system might not have registered my uploads correctly. My mum’s application is linked to mine, so this may also be affecting her status. Has anyone experienced this? |
