Good news has finally emerged as Aisha Wahab, the young woman who was kidnapped in Auchi, Edo State, has regained her freedom after spending weeks in her abductors’ den. The kidnappers had earlier demanded a ₦20 million ransom and even released multiple videos threatening to kill her if the money wasn’t paid. One of the videos, shared by human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu, showed Aisha in distress, pleading for help from Nigerians as her life hung in the balance. In a new update, Harrison Gwamnishu confirmed that Aisha has been released. He shared a video of himself with the young lady and her mother celebrating her freedom. However, as of the time of this report, details remain unclear regarding whether the ransom was paid or how exactly her release was secured. Aisha’s rescue has brought relief to her family and sparked reactions across social media, with many Nigerians thanking God for her safe return while still calling on authorities to do more to curb the growing wave of kidnappings and insecurity across Edo State and the country at large. what if she's the planner of the kidnapping to get a share. ![]() Forget, from the video she doesn't look like someone who was abducted for weeks. |

manuelkel:You're a Mumu man!!! So you want her to be screaming like a mad woman in the video before you know it's real abi You don't even know that there's how you will come face to face with death, especially if a gun is always pointed at your head every minute of the day, with endless threats to kpai you immediately, your spirit will even become resigned to death sef. Or if you think it's easy to fake kidnapping, then go and fake your own na. My uncle was kidnapped by these same useless Fulani herdsmen about four months ago. And we had to cough out 3M within a space of four days before he was released. Just pray that Nigeria never happens to you or your family!!! |

Glimpsetv:These are the kind of negative vices nigerians, especially the youths should be speaking against to the pooithiefians and not the daily and senseless religious and tribal wars on daily basis. If the Nigerian youth like make dem get sense, but very soon all these useless pooithiefians will die and move on and we all will still be here dragging useless and irrelevant tribal sentiments that will end up keeping u unborn children in thee nigerian mess |
