There is nothing like ancestors spirit. Your forefathers made a covenant with a Demon which they call Ibegwu. Even though they are now dead but the demon behind the covenant is still alive (demons don't die) to enforce it from generation to generation. |

Not just parts of kogi...some places in the old eastern region(first men on earth) have this deity that punish men whose wife have unrestricted access to other men. The punishment comes when you go into a covenant with the gods through the traditional rites of wine and kola (What the early men copied as feast of the dead and modified by the Romans as the celebration of bread and wine) |

Zonefree:See jobless African ancestors now Later some people will be asking why is Africa backward...instead of their ancestors to seek productive ways to assist their descendants make progress, they're sneaking around watching them have sex instead |

Atimes I ask myself this question. Why can't we as Nigerian adopt such a culture in the affairs of our government. Any politicians that steals or divert funds meant for the betterment of the society should die according to Ibegwus, Sango, Ogunmode or whatever local gods that's applicable. If we can adopt our own personal homegrown custodian of cultural practices to safeguard our common wealth and also monitor and supervises wasteful spending of resources. I tell you, Nigeria would be on a direct path of greatness once again. We have been bamboozled by the favourite clowns of religions such as Christianity and Islamic, those religions brought by foreigners to deceive us so as to tap into our common wealth and funnel it to their own countries while we still continue referencing the foreign gods given to us, leading us to be killing ourselves, influencing corruption and every immoral acts. |

Meedon:What sort of reasoning is this. Ibegwu does not kill the unfaithful partner but the innocent one. How then has he dealt with the adulterous woman? By making her a widow? Someone that already has a lover outside why would you think she minds. |

Jman06:Sexual activities is one of the major vices that destroy a people's harmonious living if theirs a measure to check it then it's fine Even in the old testament Bible adulterous women are stoned, I'm not sure of the punishment in the quoran but I know it's there. Why is it that of African Religion that giving you headache |
