Don't mind him...his student visa allows him to work when he arrives.....and there is no restriction like UK that says 20hrs per week

He just wants you to keep sending him money until he can find a job whenever...

Still ....that doesn't mean jobs are easy to come by...he may find it difficult getting a job in 3 months seff if he's in sciences programme that's very demanding having lectures, labs, etc

its not easy getting a job but there are jobs he can get easily, tell him to look for paper distribution it is callked ''Reklam'' in sweden. Reklam is very easy to get but doesnt pay very well and almost all international student from Africa does it.
He doesn't have to wait until 3 months to work, as a student he can work immediately he gets his social security number called ''personnummer'' in sweden, He can get that in a day. He can also start importing things from China and selling on the swedish equivalent of Ebay, it is called ''www.tradera.com''
I did that when i was in sweden and was able to live a very good life and even bought a car from it.

Nothing dey una head pass coding or to learn python o, funny people.

A lot of procedures and processes are required to settle down in Sweden, 3 months might not just be adequate.

He needs to get the personal number ( Swedish version of security number ) , then open a bank account before he can even begin to search for work. Besides , the jobs are not readily available like that especially if he is not in any of the major cities.

Just be patient with him and pray for him.as well.

Your brother is either not informed, or he lied. He can start working as soon as he gets his personnummer (only very few employers will employ you without this), and the truth is that it could take between 1 week and up to 4 months to get this, depending on a lot of factors. Aside this, you can secure a black job and earn cash, or illegally rent another person's documents, or get a job and use alternatives to receive salary if the company is cool with you once you show them your study permit

What he is describing is a situation whereby you switch permit from study to work. That is only allowed after you have successfully completed 30 credits of study (which takes about 3 months). But that is a different thing altogether and has nothing to do with you being able to get any kind of job. Also, to get a work permit, you must be earning a certain minimum salary. And with full work permit, you cease to pay school fees,

Another truth is, getting the job may not be as easy as you think, depending, again, on the city he lives.

Also, like someone had said earlier, he may be avoiding menial jobs. If that is the case, tell him to go tell King Gustaf to adopt him first, unless he is highly skilled.

If you are the one he has been depending on and he said it takes three months to get a job there as a student, give him that grace and still let him know that you are counting the month for him

The Swedes pride themselves on the efficiency of their system. And, you cannot blame them. They make the UK and US look like non-starters.

About your brother, try and be patient. To get an appointment at the government office that handles work related matter isn't easy. And, you don't turn up to their office without an appointment.

The Skatteverket can take up 18 weeks to process applications for a Personal Number, I'm extreme cases.

And without a Personal Number, no one gives you a job in Sweden. Now, you can dive into the Black Market. But, you are risking deportation, and near slave like conditions and treatment from your fellow Migrants.

Nigerians lack patience, and that is our greatest national handicap.

He may not even see anything to do within a year. The Swedish job market has tanked and international students are struggling, big time. Those that have finished school are leaving the place and seeking opportunities elsewhere. If you don't have money for US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, just stay back in Nigeria and find what to do with the little money you have. However, if you are going to Sweden and other non English-speaking countries on scholarships, no problem. Once you are done, with outstanding results, you can source for scholarships for a PHD level study in the countries I mentioned above.

I won’t talk much but my daily bread have been coming from surveys for the past two years now(no other jobs) I have access to survey in the US and some countries in Europe

On my web ladder it’s hard to see someone from USA earn $50 consistently a day
