This kind of rider will never come on Uber or Bolt with all these stops, I trust those 2 platforms, they'll hand their leg. But indrive 😂 yao yao platform 🙄😌
Indrive na cray#-zee app, I swear.
Any rider wey wan try this on Bolt or Uber should be prepared to part with their net worth. 😁 grin

Much respect, baba.

If only driver knew the powers they had to create a surge esp on in drive. Just no dey pick mumu mimu prices and if everyone sticks to it I tell u na riders go dey increase and.

Today my first trip around 5 30am from Aguda to badore. The rider put 8500. I was upset cause which kind wicked price be dat. I picked it and didn't respond as I wasnt just ready to drive yet. They greated and I responded " ah 8500 sorry I made a mistake I thot it was 18500 grin" Na so Dem cancel but guess what noone carried Dem until they increased it to 15k na em I accept sharply I no even negotiate.

Drivers own this thing honestly not riders not app dealers but drivers

You can just imagine wanting to pay 8500 for 44km trip. Haba angry

Avoid long trips, unless ure experienced.... This is still a bad trip... 44km, unless you had personal business in badore, no no. It's better to breakup trips. Preferably below 10km for 5k or above.

It's not always the case, sometimes long trips on Indrive are better especially considering the additional time you spend going to pick up your smaller trips and waiting for them too, to crack this code, make sure you do it whilst driving against traffic or when roads is fairly or completely free. Cheers!

44km @ 15k in 63mins is not bad bro. No single traffic. I usually calculate 300naira/km at least. And at least 12k for a 60mins trip. Even 50km for 15k is perfect for me. As long as it's all within the hour.

I understand ur analogy of 10km/ 5k break down And honestly I do break down trips as u get best naira/km like that but sometimes long trips helps to meet targets fasters esp if well calculated. Tanx bro

Infact I didn't even see this response. This is exactly what I was trying to explain. Before u do 3 short trips factoring wait time etc one person doing one long trip would have covered ground before you breaking trips. Longs trips r great with no traffic but short trips gives u best naira/km

I feel you bro, no single traffic.... But 50km for 15k?😫 That's wild fam. I've learned that slow and steady wins the race, I'll rather wait(with engine off, saving fuel) than be 'active'.... Most time i do 5 to 7km for 5k,but the time i do that 50km eh, omo 15k ke.... Na slave work oh... But all man and him pattern sha, may GOd bless you

I understand bro, i guess this is why some people doubt 50k everyday after fuel... I could do that if i leave house at 8 and back by 7....sometimes b4 8pm...but laziness no go gree me... But with my pattern and grace, it's very doable, if you don't have back pain like me😅

Long vs short trip , which offers a higher return on investment, and what’s the best strategy for each? Can anyone summarize this for beginners/drivers in the Uber business?

very correct. It's a personal race. You have to figure what works best for you and stick to it.

I like to take long trips as my first trip; Island to mainland and back to Island.. it helps me meet my target faster.....and also close early.

I love what Someone said. If you're a newbie, no matter what anyone tell you, until you enter road, make few mistakes, made some luck. Then you'll discover what works best for you.

Like me, I live in OTA, but I don't work on the mainland at all.
As a matter of fact, I don't wait to get ride in the morning.
I live home as early as 5am, pick 4 people going to VI/Lekki. I drive straight down.

Work start immediately I get to the island.

Lekki axis is my route.

I don't usually take VI/Ikoyi in the morning as you MAY not see trip back to lekki on time.

Lekki, Ajah, sangotedo, Badore etc till around 3/4 then I go can take VI or IKOYi trip with certain assurance of getting a good long surge trip to sangotedo or Badore axis.

From 4 till 9pm, you go still dey chop long surge trip on both bolt and Uber.

I leave mainland to the main guys😂

But you see that indrive, me and them are not meant to be.

Early morning wey you talk na him make am bad. Early morning on Uber and bolts, that's when prices are high with surge, you come dey limit yourself to a fixed fee of 63km for 15k😌

So ur car is using water abi?
44km will consume around 5k fuel. If u are not making at least 15k on 5k fuel u are wasting ur time.

Same... But that depends on the app ure usin sha... Using indrive for that no pay, especially with the traffic situation whilst going to the mainland.

Them no go hear na... I was like that b4... But like one person said, with time, you get better... Now by the special mercy of God, i comfortably make 40 50k everyday after fuel... It wasn't always the case... B4, i dey blow from ajah to mainland 18 to 24k.... Then eventually i switched to ajah to vi 13 to15k... Now i do ajah to b4 Chevron... 7/8/9k....then to vi or cms... Giving you most times 20k...go back to ajah, repeat... If you get energy to sit inside traffic, it's very possible to gross well over 50k a day... Long trips on indrive, you gotta make sure no traffic....and it has 'fair price' attached....that is actually fair,... Always choose the highest, unless you dey useless area... Anything above 30km should be 26k up. 40km should be 30k up.... Today, i did i a lot of below 8km trips for 6k 5k...Lagos roads are not free enough for you to save fuel on 'highway' driving. So do quality shorts... Don't be itchy to always be on the move...

grin bro honestly I have a high appetite. I gross 70-90k daily and days like yesterday MORE as sunday are made for ehailing. . And d only way I can do this is by taking long trips.

Short trips are excellent but u MUST take long trips if u wanna meet ur high targets. Before you do 4 small trips I have done one long and grossed more. D time wasted on one trip alone. Driving waiting time etc.

If u use a 1.8L engine then u will know that that is not a bad trip as u will profit.

Shirt trips gives u more mileage on you gas agreed but well calculated long trips earns u more. U even close on time and achieve ur target. Killing two birds...... lipsrsealed. grin

Much respect boss

Both have their advantages short give u more mileage honestly as u get better naira/km but long trips helps esp if u are a high earner per day. Long calculated trips helps meet targets way faster than short

There are days tho. I adopt the short trips pattern. It conserves fuel and u make more profile per km driven but bro days when I have a target and bills are chasing me grin. We move oooo as long as I'm making profit.

God bless our hustle bro.

Bolt don mad, very ridiculous fare, no wonder you will be getting same ride request 4times when no 1 is accepting it.

Imagine alagbole to okun ajah for 15k.

Haa, something I can't do for less than 30k coz the distance is over 60km
