My thoughts
- Pst Bakare is a good son and husband. He took care of his widowed mother and made sure his wife was treated as a queen! He didn’t ask to share the bills 50:50. He didn’t ask her what she was bringing to the table. He didnt bother about her salary.

- Pst Bakare said he manages the remaining money to work! This is deep! Women would give their lives and unalloyed loyalty to any man that is selfless and puts her and the kids first. They would do anything for such a man! Little wonder they have a successful marriage!

- Finally,I encourage men to emulate Pst Bakare’s style in marriage however in a case where the man is genuinely financially incapacitated, the woman should honourably and respectfully take over!

Pastor Thank God for your life and how it went. However it is not a standard that must be followed by every family. It is how you chose to deal and how it worked for you. So let's be careful what we out out there because people will point to this as their standard even the situation is different.

The most important factor in home is understanding. I don't know what my wife earns. We both believe anyone can foot any bill. I try to sort most of the bills. Few, we do jointly. Financial level can change. For me, who does what does not really matter if indeed you are one and all affairs are conducted in the spirit of fairness. Trying to be Mr Macho, the all sufficient one, has sent a lot of men to their graves. Life will go on when you are gone. Use sense. No do pass yourself.
