Spy360:
FYI, Edu scouted both Zubimendi and Gyokeres.

Let's start from there.

This is not belittling what Bertha did. He did a fantastic job. But it's my opinion that Josh is the man.
Zubimendi was a prospect for Arsenal, Real Madrid and Liverpool last season. Does Edu have the negotiating prowess to wriggle Zubi away from Liverpool and a whole Real Madrid like Berta? We'll never know
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 4:42pm On Oct 26, 2025
Who else noticed we hardly concede needless bookings unlike last season

The game management was somehow but when you have the best defence, you can take many risks.

Dirty win, but I’ll take it.

We are slowly getting back at those teams that troubled us last season.

Eze needs to adapt and adapt fast, especially with his pressing and finding spaces or else, as soon as Odegaard is back, na bench get am.

I’m glad for him to have gotten a goal, maybe it will ease the pressure of him.

Saka had a quiet game.

Onto the next.

Last season when others were dropping points we didn't take advantage. now we are 6 points above our serious contenders
More of the same, a game at a time

Mikel Arteta's post-match reaction today.

🗣 Arteta on Man City losing: “I found out at the end of the game. The players as well. They’re not allowed their phones at half-time so hopefully they didn’t know. I think a really positive weekend for us because we did what we had to do.”

🗣 Arteta: "I just told the boys that I value this victory more than any other victory this season."

🗣️ Arteta on injuries: The first one was William (Saliba). He was out after the first half. Declan (Rice) was struggling from the first half with a knock that he took. Ricky (Calafiori) was another one. Let’s see how they recover🙏

🗣️ Mikel Arteta after the game:
“In my opinion, losing football matches is a more unsustainable approach than winning them with set pieces”

🗣 Arteta on Saka: "He has been ill. He has not trained. We didn’t know if he was going to be able to play. He managed to play a few minutes but the longer the game went, he was going to fatigue and we didn’t want to risk injury."

Amen! However, 6 points isn't exactly a buffer for us. I'd like to see us navigate the first quarter of next year strongly. I am quite optimistic and hopeful.

Same here
If we can pull off at least 10 points gap in the first half, the second half players will be coming back I can start believing

A good 3 points if not an assured performance ... Team are now overtly cautious to attack else they collect massively

A clean Sheet for the stoic defence with Saliba absence in 2nd half rarely felt due to a certain 21 year old playing beyond his years....

Next up Brighton in EFL...

Glasner fall my hands a lil. He tripled up on saka when the league standard is doubling up on star boy. Immediately i saw the 3 to 4 gold shirts i knew it would be like that all game. Good he got off. Gyokores should have finished that ball instantly though. Eze really needs to bring his inner Cazorla out. He's opened the floodgates now. I expect 15 goals come May won't be a far reach for him.

Slot colet sha🤣🤣🤣

Norgaard will start vs Brighton then. Mosquera and Nwaneri definitely as well. White for Timber imo.

If GJ returns with a bang e go too sweet and pressure on Gyokores go bring out that Sporting beast levels. For now, make commentator still dey tok all that off ball crap 🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂😂😂😂😂

Someone help with the fixtures that we dropped points last season but have gotten all 3 with them so far. Lol

Liverpool lost 4 games last season. This new season, barely 10games in, they've lost 4.

Bournemouth and Arsenal have lost only 1 game this season. Both losses came from Slot's Liverpool.

The 3 idiats of this 1st quarter of the season are

Van Dijk
Tosin
Chalobah
Add Sanchez
Is aal well? IYKYk.

Sunderland is 2nd ke?

Emery don gbera. Man City dusted. Over to Liverpool his next game😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹

@bolded
West Ham
Fulham
Crystal Palace

E remain Brighton, Everton, Bournemouth and Aston Villa. Out of all of them na Villa that worries me the most, I hope would have gotten a comfortable lead by the time we meet them such that dropping points to them won't matter much.

Arteta knew the league was heading into set piece meta ... so he was collecting more defenders this season while other clubs were investing in attackers only #aheadofthecurve

They tired of set piece
Its now Arsenal are afraid of conceding grin grin
Abi una they fear to score, make una try score sef if e go enter

On to efl, arteta should change the team we need to see fresh legs in action especially with the knocks here and there
The entire backline should be changed, For ethan not to play at all yesterday, arteta is preparing him for Wednesday, I will like to see Merino replace gyokeres in attack too.

Spy360:
Edu already secured an agreement with Zubi to join in the summer. That deal was concluded
There was no agreement between Zubimendi and Arsenal last year, there were talks but nothing concrete yet. Just like there were talks between players like Luis Suarez, Karim Benzema and even Kylian Mbappe but nothing came out of it.

report shows that Arsenal already agreed with Sociedad before March ending and Bertha joined us on March 30th. I am not sure signing Zubimendi should be credited to Bertha.

don't be surprised to see Gabriel start on Wednesday. Brighton won't be an easy game so some big players needs to start too. Gyokeres needs to be rested and be fresh against Burnley. He needs to find his epl scoring boot against Burnley. Hopefully by the end of November some of our injured players should be back cus we need all the depth we can get these festive period of playing every 3 days. This season is more like 2015 and last season where every big team was off track but we kept dropping points whenever the leaders also dropped point, but the difference now is that we are winning when they drop points. If we can be 9 or 10 points clear of the main rivals in City and Liverpool by January, it will even be more wonderful.

We need a balance in the team because Brighton can sometimes be difficult to crack down.
