They now have their own Tinubu. I remember few years ago when we were mocking Cameroun about Paul Biya, now we have our own Paul Biya and shame no dey allow us talk we’re Cameroun people dey again
Abeg rest. What's happening in those countries cannot happen in Nigeria. The worst any President can do in Nigeria is 8 years.

Looking at Nigeria, Cameroon, and Ivory Coast,

It is clear that Africa is not serious.

You are comparing apple with orange!
Tinubu is leaving either in 2027 or 2031.

If its about age...Then we have our own Biden or Trump

Barack Obama and Nicholas Zarkosy bombed the Ivorian presidential mansion just to remove President Gbagbo from office. Their favourite man was Allasene Quattara, who is now running endlessly as the president of Ivory Coast.

Quattara was supposed to be the guy who would bring true democracy to Ivory Coast. But whatbhas happened? He is now a sit tight ruler, who fights more for the western alliance that imposed him as the president of Ivory Coast and not for the people of that country.

This should open the eyes of many Africans who supported the NATO forces in their unconstitutional acts in Abidjan. While you guys were swallowing the nebulous western propaganda agaist Gbagbo line hook and sinker, the West rode on your support to impose their lackey on the good people of Ivory Coast.
Same way they are supporting trump for gaslighting the tinubu govt about genocide on xtians........this is nothing but an attempt to whip Nigeria in line with American interest......many who should see beyond their noses refused to just because they hate the man who is president.

Hypocrites will see nothing bad in Putin decades of ruling like an emperor in Russia but will quickly condem African leaders, the bitter truth is both blacks and white are power mongers. I can tell you for free that if Trump had the opportunity for ruling the USA for life he wouldn't hesitate to do so.

All this old men should just go and rest...... Their leadership would have zero effect, to the growth of their economies........

Nigeria has been dancing to the whims and caprices of the Western world since 1966. That's how SHELL and CHEVRON ended up controlling your whole oil assets. That's why the British totally funded the Biafran genocide that was perpetuated by "fellow Nigerians".

If the North and the SouthWest can accept eternal servitude to the western world, so that the two regions can control Nigerias politics and economy, no one should preach "nationalism" to us if other parts of the country decides to play same game..

Servitude to the neocolonialsts powers have been extremely rewarding and profitable to both the Northern regions and the SouthWest. We want to enjoy that too. Whether such actions ultimately benefits one Donald Trump or not is none of my concern. It does not have to be white to be evil...

I know Nairaland will not publish my comment but I'll say my bit anyways. This idiot caused a civil war in Cote d'Ivoire. Here he is doing the exact same thing that he said led him to war. Likewise Yowerey Musoveni in Uganda. Useless people.

Our very own Paul Biya wannabe will be beaming with admiration. One thing Paul Biya and Ouattara have in common is that they are both French puppets. Does that explain why someone seem to be so much in love with France?
I swear…. Someone has been attending advanced ‘Sidon Tight ‘ classes in Paris .

I said it this man will be like Biogny, Mobutu, Mugabe etc people said my mouth was smelling.

"Majority of opposition that grab power always ends up a sit-tight president".

And

"Any activist that grab power always ends up as a dictator".

Cameroon still battling their sitt-tight presiden, Biya. Cote d vour already on the journey of forever president. Uganda still there and so on.

Na Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger Rep go worst pass because those 3 guts believed no one in their country is better and fit enough to rule except them. Na here we go dey

Now he has become that same Laurent gbagbo he once fought.... Same with Nigerians.... Once you get power or see money you'll suddenly forget you were once a freedom fighter....d same thing happens when u join d police force

Do you want to compare Putin style of ruling to Alhassan own ? Putin has a very high rating in Russia. Alhassan is a puppet to France, but like Biya.

Africa my Africa, Africa of sit tight syndrome mask in the synopsis of gerontocracy in name the democracy. Heavens flick and flip in immaculate cassock reek of poverty, and deep shallow graves of agony. Africa! is it your escapes defaced with the songs of sorrow wallowing in flippant of mockery? Tell me Africa where did we get it wrong as men who wear the hats of gray hair walk and wisdom covers in mucus. Africa where is the pride! Where is the heritage!! Africa, sorry; when will the old casket be buried in the coffin.

This is why I will never fight for any politician and will forever treat them with suspicion no matter how angelic they appear

This is the same man that ran for his life when Larent Gbagbo wanted to die in power and today he’s towed the path of his predecessor angry

As bad as Nigeria is, I’m grateful I wasn’t born in any of these useless francophone countries

And thousands of innocent lvorians died protesting for this same ldiot to become president, when he was fighthing Laurent Gbagbo's third term bid back in 2011huh Tufiakwa! African leaders all have a reserved VIP slot in hell. Or they will all face serious Kharma in their next lives l swear down!!!
Supposed freedom fighters, opposition leaders who promise heaven and earth are usually worse than the establishment they are trying to change. Many a time, sticking with the establishment is a true blessing. Unfortunately, many people are easily deceived to believe that there is a dream life on the other side, and that the opposition is capable of taking them there. grin

Eyes dey clear last last. That's what the UK will get when they vote in Reform. The establishment may be slow. It is slow because it is operating within the boundaries of reality. 'I will make 1 dollar equal 1 Naira, fuel will be 50 a litre' is all shitty fantasy. Who will bear the cost? cheesy

Campaign and governance are two completely different worlds. The former is imagination, while the latter is reality. grin

How funny you are using an example of a man who hasn't got the presidency yet when there are examples of those who have.

France did it alone if I am not mistaken. The USA was not involved.
