COUP PLOT: TIMIPRE SYLVA FLED NIGERIA TO SENEGAL ENROUTE TO ARGENTINA

Former Petroleum Minister, Timipre Sylva who is under investigations for plotting a Military coup to topple the Government of President Bola Tinubu, fled Nigeria to Senegal from where he is to go into hiding in Argentina, a South American country.

Insiders said the former Minister fled through the creeks immediately he got wind that the coup plot had leaked.
Sylva allegedly has several businesses in Senegal and Argentina and was lobbying to be made Nigerian Ambassador to Argentina.

Highly placed sources said that the first military officer arrested in connection with the coup plot wasted no time in naming Sylva as the arrowhead and financier of the coup plot.
The source also confirmed that about N46billion was traced to an account linked to the former Petroleum Minister.

The Abuja home of the former Governor was raided by officials from the Defence Intelligence Agency, DIA. His brother, Paga, was picked up during the raid. This was after his Bayelsa residence had earlier been raided where incriminating evidence were allegedly found including cash in foreign denominations.

Sylva is alleged to have provided fundings for the coup operation.

Yorubas have indeed suffered in this country.
I remember confronting late Pa Adebanjo during a symposium to commemorate the death of Late Adekunle Fajuyi at the UI conference center in early/mid 2016.
The killings were worse around the creeks of Arepo and Ikorodu.
I’m sure never do wells like this former Minister were the brain behind such attacks

Do you know the meaning of that word"creating" you used? I doubt. Enmity that has been created, sustained, and feed from the other side but being acknowledged from my side is not my creation. I dont attack Ijaw female corpers in Yorubaland with machetes or dagger. No and never.

As for 2012 protest, dont also forget the tribe that first hit the streets to protest GEJ being denied presidency when Yar'adua was vegetative for over a year. You can call it a Yoruba protest all you like but dont deny the outrage from your side when the subsidy was finally removed under uncle Yekini. If anything, the outrage justifies the protest against GEJ, who didnt deal with theft n subsidy fraud but used fancier phrases to deny stealing.

How can fuel be 387 when 1 litre of crude oil is over N600?

Why did he allow the importation of petrol? Because he knew that if there was a ban on importation (which exist in the Petroleum Industry Act), Dangote would not waste time and increase the price.

The government can not keep borrowing to subsidize fuel. It was destroying the economy.
