Nobody "goofed". They are on a mission. What you igbos don't know is that the Yoruba establishment headed by the Pablo Escobar stooges in Lagos, are desperate to end igbo domination of "buying and selling" in Nigeria, especially in the South west. You really think that advert was a coincidence. They know what they are doing. These people want to control everything; the banks, the insurance companies, the telecommunications companies, the betting companies, the oil companies, name them. That is their idea of a "One Nigeria". A Nigeria in which they are at the top and others are below them.

What you saw was a well calculated, well coordinated attempt to inject bigotry into the minds of ordinary Yoruba buyers and to turn them against igbo retailers. Intentionally done. Those who choreographed that display are not worried about the uproar that followed. Why? They expected that. They all have the Bayo Onanuga mindset of "I have no apologies to give". What they want to do is to make the cost of buying from the igbo traders to be too high using import duties hike, and then to proceed to give preferential import licences to majore Yoruba retailers like this..

Igbos must understand that the South west political establishment under Tinubu are violently anti South east. They want to hyjack everything for themselves throughout underhand tactics. This includes the informal trading sectors in Nigeria. Obviously, using datas from their banks and all that, they now accept that this area is a money making machine. They used to deride "buying and selling" and "4 by 4" shops as symptoms of poverty. They no more see it that way.

Remember that this advert, the demolitions of igbo houses and businesses in Lagos, the endless burning of igbo markets, the desperate attempt to force igbos to leave Lagos while still insisting on One Nigeria, the deprive igbos of their voting rights in Lagos, the JAMB anti igbo results, the non inclusion of igbos in the student loan scheme etc etc , all started after Pastor Tunde Bakare warned Nigerians that he was invited to a meeting of Yorubas in Lagos, where the topic was how to stop igbos from "dominating" in Lagos state.
