there was never any agreement with Eze and spurs, spurs believed the deal can go through because of their positive talks with Palace but not with Eze. In the case of Zubimendi, it was already concluded between the two teams and player himself by March, but Sociedad wanted the deal to be recorded as of May when laliga season is officially ended.

There was no agreement between Zubimendi and Arsenal last year, there were talks but nothing concrete yet. Just like there were talks between players like Luis Suarez, Karim Benzema and even Kylian Mbappe but nothing came out of it.

We need to improve in our attack. There's no real improvement in terms of performance compared to last season.

The only reason it's not showing is because our defending improved.

this is the first time of the xl playing together and it's against a Brighton side that is playing their strong side. If we can win, I will take it but truly, I am not optimistic. That they're playing together for the first time doesn't really matter though. That lineup is not that bad but doesn't give assurance like the one we're used to. Let's just observe.

White must have rejected the captain band cos I see no reason why Merino is captaining us. Anyway, W is all that matters
