What did you hear about National Teachers' Institute.

Would you advise anyone to run a Teachers Training program at the school?

Those that studied there, how is the school?

What are your thoughts on the school?

Oga, instead of me telling anyone to run a programme at the institute I would tell such person to run as far as your two legs can carry you, even fly sef, what am I even saying, tell the person to disappear at the mention of NTI, I haven’t seen an institution so useless.
I did my PGDE programme there since 2022, would you believe that till now, no certificate has been issued. They have no power to issue certificate, only the school which they are affiliated to possess that power.

NTI is the most useless and fraudulent institution i have ever seen in my entire life. My spouse finished her PGD from gboko in Benue state since 2015, got transcript and got her statement in 2024 after much trouble and till now, her original certificate is not coming forth. NTI is a scam.

Well, let me help you get it right. Go run your PGDE at National Open University of Nigeria. Those who did PGDE at the institute in 2021 are yet to get their cert. Some have given up already while some are still hopeful they might get it this year.

They use to call them black and white when they first came to warri,my mum was a beneficiary of their program after that she proceeded to college of education.the school really help a lot people back and some of their graduates are still working as a teacher in some schools.

Wow this is really shocking. I used to think that was the leading higher institution when it comes to education in Nigeria. . . Obviously I was mistaken.

So they're not even a degree awarding institution. That's a shocker!

They are very corrupt. Exam malpractice is a normal thing in all their programs I have heard of. They hardly pay their part-time lecturers on time so they resort to various means of extortion. Not a place to be at all.

I hope The NTI are listening, Nigerians have wise up unfortunately, they should correct their system

You need the see the way folks are really losing opportunities due to that institute selfishness and greediness, I heard they didn’t pay the university they are affiliated to. Don’t know how true this is.

I did the NTI PGDE Program in Osun, 2017. 4 years later in 2021 without a result, I was notified I failed a course and had to resit which I did and cleared the following year. 2 years later in in 2023, I needed my transcript and certificate to run the UK’s Foreign Teachers’ recruitment. After months of waiting, I got the transcript and only notification of results without a certificate. After about a year on UK’s Qualified Teachers Status document assessment queue, my request was denied because I couldn’t provide the education certification i claimed to posses and my portal was shut down after ultimatum I was given elapsed this February. The unbothered manner in which the director and his agents over there reeks and make me believe these people are unrepentantly callous. I wish we had a functional system and sue them all for the damages they’ve caused me and many people who had helplessly recline to this inhumane and avoidable twist of destiny.

In 8 - 10 years from now shii will be very ripe for exploration

I did mine in 2015, I went for my certificate in 2022 that was when I was ready to collect the certificate. National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) certificate was issued to me. But till now, I have not gone for my transcript because I'm not in Nigeria. I'm the one holding myself.


ADVICE
better do it at any University or Open University than NTI. You go wait tire.

Funny enough, she has been disturbing me right from nursery school.
No week would pass, that she won’t talk about it, and money isn’t even the issue at all.
