Last week, Putin announced a successful test launch of the Burevestnik, during which the projectile reportedly traveled more than 14,000km. During a meeting this week, he reported a successful trial of the Poseidon system, an advanced nuclear torpedo that is understood to use the same technology as the Burevestnik for propulsion.

You are one funny hell of a fella. You mentioned some bunch of solar projects as something unique, oh you forget that propose one air balloon as something out of a sci-fi.

Theoretically a nuclear plant could go on for years but confining it to a tight space like aircraft without necessary coolant can cause problems. Though there different type of coolant that can be use to cool the core, the majority of the heat in system like is use to heat up the air which is use for propulsion and air is a bad conductor heat so you cant keep flying for days.

The goal is to hit America from Russia without using icbm which has been achieved already, besides the key parameters has not been made known as testing is still ongoing and the figures I gave is what industry experts are saying. The figure I gave was even gotten is a quote from a Russian source.

I follow up on every tech news, scientific bulletins and reviews unlike you I don't I don't care where it is coming from. When I first heard the news my first was space flight then I decided to research the engine type and found it is ramjet my excitement waned.

And yes FTL is still within the realm of science fiction but it does stop those who dare from toying with the ideas and from the list you mentioned, warp seems more practical.

At first the amount antimatter to achieve seems impossible but latest calculation and tweaking shows it is something mankind can achieve in the distance future and when all the hard has been you will choose to ignore the works of those that comes before you and claim a genius.

Another thing is, though I only mentioned the US, even the ussr had similar project which I believe it revived.
