Madam let me drop an horrible story for you I got to know about. A male horse was waiting patiently for a female horse to give birth, obviously they are partners. She gave birth only for the male to notice that he wasn't the father, he matched the baby horse to death. That's animal oh, how much more humans. it's very traumatic for man to know

The bigger problem is that our culture sweeps paternity fraud under the carpet. We talk about men abandoning children, but not about women weaponizing lies to secure relationships or finances. Until society starts seeing truth as sacred, family structures will keep breaking down.

It's allowed in igbo culture!

A man from that side can claim child/children from a single mother whom bride price has not been paid.

Once he pays the bride price, he is considered the father of those children in igbo culture even though he didn't father them biologically.

To me, women from that side won't see anything wrong with paternity fraud since all children are same to their family including those kidnapped or bought from baby factory.

As long as the child calls you father/mother, you're good to go.

I think it also depends on the age of the child when you did the test & found out.

If a child has been calling you dad for 10years & you've bonded with him, it wouldn't be right to just abandon the child. You must consider the mental health of the child.
