Citizens shouldn’t have to choose between war and good governance. A responsible leader should create conditions where people can thrive, not just survive. Saying “at least he’s not Putin” lowers the standard of what we expect from leadership.

Nigerians want good roads and schools, but they don't want to pay for them. The oil boom is long gone. The reason why Lagos is functioning is that the state collects taxes and invests in infrastructure, such as rail, roads, and security.

Your government that couldn't generate revenue from trillions borrowed from IMF, couldn't account for forex and fuel subsidy funds, hasn't brought down inflation, haven't accounted for our refineries, haven't accounted for our heavily padded yearly budget and mismanagement in all sectors of the economy. This is the government you want to entrust your hard earned money to as tax expecting magic. We will pay taxes for 100 years and nothing will change.
