A New Nigeria is Emerging, and It Must Be Protected. Nigeria is firmly on a path to shared prosperity, and every once in a while, a moment comes that reaffirms our collective progress. Yesterday in Sagamu,Ogun State we witnessed one of those moments during the formal launch of the largest fibre optic cable factory in Africa by @colemancablesNG, who were also celebrating 50 years of remarkable excellence in cable manufacturing.https://x.com/bosuntijani/status/1983807638509846732?t=osUAWbofutui9r5abl0J6w&s=19

God has blessed Ogun state with so many investors and the proximity to Lagos is a very crucial advantage. I just hope the state governor and FG can invest enough in road construction to drive in more investment cos the regular Abeokuta and Ijebu politics isn't helping the state develop. Most investors going to Ogun state prefer outskirts like Agbara, Ota, Igbesa etc, those are the places they need to pump more money in order to drive in more investments and get more taxes. |

iLoveYouToo:The Onafowokan family of Ogun State founded Coleman Cables and Wires [the BIGGEST cable manufacturer in West Africa] and now the first to manufacture fiber optic cables for super high-speed Internet access. That's what it is. |

Klington:Nigeria happened to the company and they have expanded , stop with this evil negativity. This is a 50 year old company. I bet you won't progress as you should if you live in Nigeria and keep deep resentment against the country. |

Do we really regard North Africa as Africans? If it's so, I don't think Nigerians would be insulting ancient Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia with all the these their captions of "First in Africa" The Largest Museum in the world is about to be commissioned in Egypt. Power supply in Egypt is 40,000 megawatts. So, are we saying a country with such a generation does not have Fibre optic factories? Nigerians can say "first in the subsaharan" |

That company is making huge profit and enormous sales. Customers troops into their Arepo warehouse everyday buying millions of naira worth of cable. I personally bought about 5m cable from there, and I witnessed management handing new car keys to their employees. |

This is a welcome development. As someone who supply fibre Optic cables, I must confess that this is a very big feat attained by Coleman and by extension Nigeria . The company deserves all the support & prayer to strive. |
