His name is Lawan Musa Majakura, a 33-year-old primary school teacher who was crowdfunded by locals to contest the House of Assembly seat in Nguru II constituency of Nguru Local Government Area under the platform of the PDP.

He defeated the then Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Ahmed Mirwa Lawan, who had held the seat for 20 years.

Teaching is not easy! Especially in the north where there is little interest in western education.

Their lack of interest makes the profession a tough job as you will teach and shout all day with little assimilations from the student.

The daily energy drain will make you malnourished.

One can only manage to succeed if you can speak the local language and of course, a practicing muslim.

It is not easy to teach blockheads who are not interested in western education.

This is my prayer for Helinues and Yarimo, that one day they will be crowdfunded like this man by their fellow Apc robots. Because those boys have really laboured for Apc, defending them for the past 10 years… and there’s nothing to show for it except 30k naira and 1GB data monthly.
