Mehn, this is where drivers will have no choice but to do the lasdri cox they can make it a mandatory document for the inspection.

Everything regarding this country is so depressing....

Agidingbi, I understand but wemco road is off route especially on Indrive.
But how will someone using indrive not check map before taking a trip. I can never be caught in a long traffic while using Indrive.

I said since I started driving with Uber, 3 things has changed.

1. I don forget say some dey exist wey them dey call bolt
2. I no dey worry about traffic again. As this poster said, na me go come dey pity ridder, because them too go don start to dey grumble.
3. I dey smile everyday I dey work. I drive less trip now with reasonable income per day.

And I keep saying it, the fact that I have the liberty to go to where I want to, I don too suffer for bolt hand, over 1 year. When I see my rating dey drop, I'll have to pick atleast 4-5 trips wey no make wey no make sense, pick up distance is much, ride to where you literally don't like to go etc.

But on Uber, nothing like that, the only thing they frown at is accepting without completing it.

God bless Uber
grin Uber is the best app mehn. I'm happy someone here agrees with me

Bro rules of ehailing app? Which rules bro? These apps don't even obey their own rules. Bolt doesn't treat Nigerian drivers d same way dey treat European drivers.

AC is a must for me but if it's not working sudnt d driver still work? So if car no get AC make em no work with the rubbish prices out dere? If ur AC is working better but if not that d rider business ooo unless it's Uber, or comfort. I mean y would d app company have a category called COMFORT meaning dey know rides are in different categories of comfortability grin

Abeg make we leave matter for Mathias.
grin
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 3:22am On Nov 01, 2025
sconp:
Lol.

Every rider in whatever category is entitled to AC while the ride is on. This is well enshrined in the rules of these ehailing apps except the rider states otherwise. By switching on the AC, you're not doing the rider a favour, that service is paid for.

You can make a case for better fares, you can choose to accept or decline trips based on the manner of approach, that's totally within your prerogative.
Brother. It is well. business in Nigeria is sha different. It's brutal grin. Even International companies wey dey obey rules go come Nigeria forget d rules cause the way the system works you must forget rules else u won't survive. grin

It is well
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 3:24am On Nov 01, 2025
sconp:
It's good you know AC is a must.

If your AC doesn't work you calmly explain to your rider and they'll decide either to go or not.
It's that simple.
Well except it's comfort or Uber u don't owe anyone any explanation except the rider ask u from the beginning. Then you tell them "I don't have AC or yes I use AC but pls if there is traffic I will switch it off".

cool

Yes becos a car is mighty expensive. If u own a car in Nigeria today God has blessed you. Now you now want to use it for e hailing and something as small as AC will hinder it from being driven cause someone (that is already paying a ridiculous amount which d e hailing apps sanctioned) is not happy I the AC in my car is not working? Ask them if they use AC I. Their houses and if they do the better for u as a driver who's ac is not working cause they can quickly resume the using when they come down from ur car.

Please the country is frustrating already and anything might happen that AC might not work even big men with big cars don't use AC. So kini big deal really?

Lagos state government is on her own on this.
Tint permit (non-scence).
Hackney P (non-scence)
This one, too (non-scence).
The only things I owe the government are car particular, road worthiness, Insurance, driver's license.
If indrive wan hack themselves for leg, make dem dey suspend drivers wey refuse to do am.
This government is just up for no good - looking for every route to hook everyone for their web.
Why are they putting too much muscle on e-hailing wey we dey manage use survive?
The only situation that would make me succumb to all these úsé-lé#ss requirements the government has been trying to impose on us is if there's no alternative source of livelihood for me.
Awón weyrey.

Much respect, boss.
VIO will use this new directive to witch hunt cars/drivers (especially those that branded BOLT on their cars, MOOVE cars and once your rider sits at the owner side)

Them go impound tire.

Can you/we really fight the government on this matter?

Plus the price was very, very poor considering the traffic condition on that very day.
But raising that point wasn't necessary.

Giving out my Honda accord 2011 4plug to a friend to use for Uber on office hours and weekend. Is it something that can get us both 400k at the end of the month as profit?

He gets to drop me off at Ikeja, at 6:30am and then goes out to hustle with it and comes back maybe from around 7 or 8pm daily and on weekends, I let him use it, but on Sundays I may only grant him access from 12pm after church movements.

Is 400k doable as profit that we can both share either equally or depending on the minor charges.

On my car, 70litres can easily take me a distance of 350 to 400miles.

My location is Lagos
