The only reason Nigeria police don't stay when accident is caused by police is because Nigeria police might not have insurance to pay for damages here .

If there is something incriminating in your phone, why not drop the phone at home and go out with small phone? If your vehicle papers are not complete and you don't want to jump buses, you can simply enter Uber/bolt.

But no, you must drive out to show off and if police stop you, you start running.

I'm sure the only reason why those police team after them disappeared was because it's an illegal work, they were not supposed to be on duty which most police units that exhibit such tout behavior are always off duties but you won't know or maybe it's not their territorial assigning.
Nigeria police force men on duty, even if the car crash hundred cars they must still arrest them.

Even in developed countries, police still chase defaulting cars till this very moment, so it's not out of place for police to chase suspects. But what is not ok is when they try to struggle over the steering with the driver. They're supposed to chase the driver, box him in, bring him out and arrest him.

Until the Nigeria unprofessional police apply international standards in their corrupt, exploitative witch hunting, Stop-and-Sesrch, they will continue sowing public distrust and disdain and will never get law abiding citizens to support them.
