Restriction of air space e.g international flight might be severally restricted. Flying to UK,Ghana and many countries might be affected. If airstrikes are possible by US Navy or airforce warships or submarine or military drones, international fight might be limiited. Restrictions of imports e.g cars, food and so on Inflation due to restrictions of imported goods from a Naval blockage if US troops are going to be send Nigeria. Depending on US Congress approval to authorize military force against Nigeria in name of protecting Christians Boko Haram and other terrorist groups might join force to fight the USA e.g Al Qaeda from middle east might migrate to Nigeria to join the fight against the USA Establishment of a permanent US Military Base in Nigeria due to US security and interest only. Ease of visa to US by those affected by US strike. |

The truth has to be told to the government of Nigeria, our people are suffering, fulani militias kidnapping, collecting huge sums and still killing their victims and all this government can do is to invite them to grant them pardon or have an agreement with them. What happens to the lives wasted? The children and left behind Families affected? Those whose livelihood have been destroyed or stolen? And we claim to be the giant of Africa, sorry at this point America is unconditionally needed for the rescue ![]() |

Willy2025:Trump wey dey para, a President that is itching to start war, dey play. A President that is already on the verge to attack Venezuela. Anyway military actions does not mean US troops will be send. A cruise missile attack is a possibility and is a form of a military actions |

They never said they will strike Nigeria military. They said they would go after the northern terrorists. The fallout of that would be an insurgency of the northern bandits into the southern states. |

There was no where the US said they will strike the Nigerian military, except the Nigerian military are the guns behind the killings of Nigerians. The US is talking about these agents of darkness killing Nigerians while the Nigerian govt looked away disgracefully, except you are a terrorist or terrorist sympathizer, why do you have an issue with a foreign intervention to end this menace since your govt have failed to do so for years? |

The new service chiefs, their first task is that America has declared war on Nigeria. They will now be advising the government to beg the Americans rather than take the military option. |

This will tank Nigeria's fortunes further. Foreign investment would flee. The stock market will plummet Et |

Since the government has failed to address the issue of terrorism for over a decade now, I don’t think it’s a bad thing if US wants to come rid the country of terrorists. They should also extend the killing to their sponsors both within and outside Nigeria. I am confident, the US has the list of those sponsor. UAE released a list to Buhari administration and till this day, we knew nothing of that list. This shows the government enables these guys. |

Ibrahim1985:Why negotiate with terrorists after all the jets they buy from USA... Trump will strike like 5 top leaders in Nigeria, they have already marked those they will strike... T USA take their time to study the events in a country and one they conclude their findings it is over |

Why are government supporters twisting issues here? Are the Christians killed also not Nigerians? And the people sponsoring the killing are the ones the US want to target, not even our government or military, the US president was very clear when he said he won't allow the mass killings of Christians anymore |

Gadafii:Can't you see He is clearly a terrorist They don't want the madness to stop They think Nigeria, the Nigerian resources and the Nigerian military is their property. That's why he (they ) are quiet , refuse to condemn these sordid atrocities , they support and want it to continue. See his mindset, other terrorist groups from outside the country will come and fight the US.. they have never condemned these atrocities that shows they are in support. It was so irksome and disgusting that FG responded on NTA with breaking news "not only Christians killed but Muslims are also killed" Very unfortunate. |

Ibrahim1985:You people know how to analyze rubbish... Do you read at all? The United States Government says it will attack terrorists in Nigeria not Nigeria or the Nigerian military. |

ambale:. It's not as easy as you think & as trump or his secretary knows this... .. Nigerian Government should sit up seriously.. . Nigerians should resist what's trump is planning if he hopes to implement his threat,,, remember, where Two Elephants fights, the environment suffers the impact.... |

horpe132:You stand with terrorists You stand with terrorism Shebi these insecurities, kidnapping for random, killing of farmers, ethnic cleansing is a beautiful sight for you to behold. It is a lovely sight isn't it? You are not happy about the talk to stop. You have lost your humanity. What benefits has insecurity and terrorism brought to Nigeria? You can't drive at night or travel in peace again! What is your problem? Would you put your money in that kid of country suffering all these? |

Ibrahim1985:You are just so ignorant If US reasons Nigeria's matters eehhhh, many Terrorists financiers will be Caught and killed, terrorists go die in thousands. US has radar that can detect every electronic means of Communication. The federal government as a matter of Urgency should ban every form of open grazing, the herders should be restricted to ranches and reserves only. The federal government should go after all terrorists in the North, the killings are way too much |

Look at what USA has done Libya, Ukraine. Some people ignorance just dey baffles me.. This people know what they want they are using Christian killing issue has disguise.. by the time they are done with Nigeria, our own go worse pass congo.. u think say us care about you guys.. just dey play... Make me I sharply japaa since some Nigerians have failed to use their common sense.. why is that now is that they interested in Christian killing in Nigeria. When they see Nigerian is progressing in some area of natural resources.. they want to spoil waiting we dey manage.. if USA really care about us they should provide us military equipment to tackle all this.. since our government have decided to nonchalant about this issue. But kudos to the USA for bringing this up if they don't have other motive.. but invading Nigeria is what I won't support, at least this can pressure the government to tackle this insecurity we have facing for both religion |

All of these can be easily avoided if that monster BAT, cocaina snorting 'emperor' with borrowed robes, makes a public declaration to STEP ASIDE in 2027, taking with him his useless Muslim Muslim ticket and his troupe of Yoruba jesters. As a consensus, Peter Obi and Atiku would STEP DOWN from contesting and support Jonathan to stabilize Nigeria with his proven democratic, nationalistic, and pro-people credentials. It is really that simple. If this monster they call BAT insists on forcing himself on Nigerians at all cost, then the heavens will fall and crash on his yamayama bald head. No two ways about it. |

horpe132:This is where you guys keep missing it, So because multiple groups are now affected as per the rain falling on all, we should fold our arms? Bro defending evils does no good See how bent and battered Nigeria now is It is only politicians their cronies, associated families and friends and brutal ruthless criminals that are now enjoying Nigeria. Politicians have dual citizenship, properties and businesses in other developed, sane, stable countries so that when the country packs up as they envisaged they will bail. They don't even believe in Nigeria. |

Now is the right time to create state police, since the army are overstretched, let the state governors handle the security of their various states and watch how insecurity will end in this country.. |
