I pay my offering,
I sometimes donate to the "we care" ministry,
I pay my dues to the women sect,
There will be some Sundays, some teenagers or youths will come and ask for transport fare,
Building offering, cuz our church is still under construction.
So monthly church spending is not fixed.

This matter should really be a big concern, a friend of mine told me how much her accumulated church expenses has gotten to, it's outrageous, her monthly church spending at average is upto 10k(youth contribution, choir dressing, church offerings, church building charges etc), she doesn't pay tithes at times, that'll accumulate the bill even greater, now how much does she earn per month 40 thousand naira, now remove 10k from 40 that 30k left with her, she has to feed, take care of herself and other statuary and unexpected bills, not to mention she's doing contribution 10k to that leaves her with 20k for all these expenses, tell me how will she get ahead in this hash economy, her father has stroke but that one doesn't concern church anyways, if they had to do anything about his sickness it's all on the family and she has to contribute from her small salary.


You see the injustice in the billing culture of the country, every sector wether religious, education or finance is ready to rip you off. My own take on this matter, if you must spend in church, spend what will not set you back from your aims, church will not contribute to your plans.

It's actually very sensible to have monthly budgets and to allocate money to everything including church donations.

Every Sunday I take atleast 20k to church, on most days I dont come back with any change on me. Because no be only contributions. so many ppl are also depending on that weekly 2k n 3k. I pray God bless me bigger than I am now to be of help to as many as possible and take real impact
