It is clear we need some sort of foreign intervention to end the insecurity problems in Nigeria.
The Nigerian people profiting from it will never want it to end.
So if the USA can help reduce it. It will be good.

Since una no wan hear word...this religious bigotry will destroy all of una.

Prosecute killers of Deborah, we must see them in jail!

Eliminate all bokoharam and their sponsors and sympathisers!

Fulanis must compensate victims of those killed in their genocidal attacks on Benue and plateau State!

Fulanis and their Sahel brothers must leave the southern forests, the killings and kidnappings is too much, a line must be drawn!
In fact, its too glaring that Nigeria government is a TOTAL FAILURE on banditry, insurgency, Boko Haram and general insecurity in the country. I am a Muslim, l wholeheartedly support the US move and want it implemented soonest ONLY AND ONLY if there is NO CLANDESTINE/ ULTERIOR MOTIVE of OIL RESOURCES BENEFITS as it has been in Iraq and Libya.

A Nigerian is telling a fellow Nigerian that he doesn’t have a country. So Nigeria is not his country again? So you’re proud to say you’re forcing him to be where he doesn’t want to be? Is this not why trump called this country a disgraceful country?
Richtaiwo:
So US is your might? What is your contribution to this might? Abi na to stay for one place dey echo the strength of a country that you contributed absolutely nothing to? Let the Americans echo their military might, not you who the country doesn't know jack of your existence. At least, I belong to a "weak" country, but that is my country, I mean my father land. But do you even have a country? Even if na frail one?

This US intention to invade Nigeria is not because of religious killings. If it were religious killings, US should have invaded Nigeria when Muhammadu Buhari was the president and when HellRufai was the governor in Kaduna State and Ortom the governor of Benue State. The religious killings and carnage of that era can never be forgotten on this earth. BUT WHAT DID THE UNITED STATES DO? Nothing! Because they had their stooge in power.

Come back to Tinubu, it is obvious that the current has malfunctioned in the eyes of the United States. It is not what they expected. Somehow, his ability to REJECT HARDENED CRIMINALS THAT TRUMP WANTED TO DEPORT TO NIGERIA (as if Nigeria is a maximum security prison) IS THE LAST STRAW ON THE CAMEL'S BACK. How did Trump expect Nigeria with all our criminals in government to accept the worst criminals from the US when he should have normally deported them back to their countries? He wanted them to serve their prison term, but he wanted it to be in a maximum security prison which Trump mistook Nigeria for. Would he accept such nonsense? Why didn't he deport them to the UK or any European country?

ANOTHER problem that this man Trump has with Nigeria is that Dangote Refinery is up and running. He knows what that means in the next 5 years in terms of exchange rate. Trump is also aware that Dangote wants to go into oil production. He knows that once this happens, some of the crude theft and inefficiencies that the US benefits from will cut by half. Trump knows that Nigeria being self reliant in energy means doom for the US and the West. I have always admired the US and President Trump but this is nonsense. He's not coming to liberate the christians. Christians have no such urgent needs to be liberated in Nigeria now more than it was in the days of Buhari. All they want is to come, bomb the oil infrastructure, take charge of the oil, and execute their agenda. As much as I believe that the US played a siginficant role in 2023, they're seeing the current president as someone who is not sticking to the agenda, someone who has malfunctioned, someone who they'll likely lose control of.

Think of the 15% import duty imposed on imported fuel products, it is also a sign that the US might be losing grip of the Nigerian economy, hence their intention to invade as they did in Lybia. The problem is after some diplomatic meetings that will follow, the US will end up getting a good slice of control over the policies of the federal government. Personally I don't like APC and the sufferings they bring on the people, but I don't like the US meddling in our affairs now, When they should have intervened in the Buhari's 8 years of carnage. Where was the US and Trump in the 8 years of Buhari? These people want to control our country by all means. Why didn't they react or intervene in 2023 after the uproar and disgust that followed the 2023 elections? Where was America?

Lest i forget, Nigeria refused to go to war with Niger Republic who sent away the US military base. They pushed and encouraged, tried to manipulate President Tinubu to go to war with Niger but he refused. I believe this was part of the instances they believed that Tinubu malfunctioned. So they want to show Nigeria shege. They believe, eat, wear, drink, dream and walk America first but they don't want other countries to put their interest first.

My only problem is that Tinubu failed to take a decisive action on the sponsors and sympathizers of Boko Haram when he entered. But how could he have done it when he needs second term? This country na wa, but US should leave us alone.
Very unintelligent post.

They have just sealed the fate of the Ibos politically.

Nigeria may break up but if Nigeria remains an Ibo will never be president.

They have just lost any votes they hadn’t already lost and this is not just Peter Obi.

The whole country knows this is the handiwork of the Ibos and they will reap the political rewards.

Go and read Arewa Twitter, there are all saying give them their Biafra! Are those the people who are going to vote for an Ibo president?

Trump cannot install Peter Obi. There is no magic they can do to get the votes.

Looks like u don’t understand what’s happening. What US is saying is that Nigeria government should do something about the killings and genocide or they USA will come into Nigeria and do it for us. To me that’s not bad unless you’re supporting the killings and genocide. You mentioned the killings but you didn’t say anything about what Nigeria govt is doing to end it. Absolutely nothing, instead if they catch the killers, they’ll give them VIP treatment and integrate them into the Nigeria army. Will u deny this is happening?

Oh, I thought only Muslims kill Christians?prosecution or not, ppl behave the way they want to, irrespective of their religion. This is the point I want you get. Muslims have been killed, so have christians.the cry of genocide against Christians is crying wolf where there is none. If not for your hypocrisy, the number of ppl that have been killed in zamfara, Sokoto, kebbi, katsina and Niger far outweighs the number of ppl killed in plateau, benue and southern kaduna.but no, you guys want to drive another narrative.no wahala, the Yoruba man says Mura si, hausa man says ci haba, keep inviting the us to come and fight your imaginary war for you, but remember that a bulley or bomb doesn't know Christian or Muslim.

Bitter leaf people didn't know that even PBAT is against the terrorists unlike Buhari that was pampering them, reason the fulani army officers planned a coup against him cause they have seen that Tinubu is keenly trying to eliminate them.

Are christians being slaughtered?

Verdict: Yes, the christians in Southern Kaduna and the Middle Belt are being slaughtered in mass numbers and their ancestral lands taken from them by the marauding herdsmen and other militias. The christians in some parts of the East are also being slaughtered by their own kinsmen masquerading as freedom fighters.

Are people of other faiths being slaughtered as well?

Verdict: Yes, the bandits and Boko Haram are slaughtering people in parts of Borno and Zamfara, mosques are being razed and scores killed.

Are the killings religious or political?

Verdict: Both. While those in the Southern Kaduna and the Middle Belt are religiously motivated, same can't be said about those in the East as it's main purpose is political. There is an ethnic cleansing in the MB, the Fulanis through some powers that be are trying to takeover people's ancestral lands and they are succeeding. The ESN on the other hand are using the arms that they're supposedly used to liberate their people to terrorise, kidnap, and kill the same people they claim to be fighting for.

Is the government doing enough to stop these killers?

Verdict: No, the government isn't doing enough. It's politicized. Tinubu once called GEJ all sorts of unprintable names for the latter's unable to curb the menace.

Will the US invading Nigeria solve the problem?

Verdict: No, it will not solve the problem. Syria, Afghanistan, Libya etc are case studies.
In all your write up you found it convenient to avoid the West and even several Northern regions . As there are no Christians there right? Your agenda is different , you are just seeking to cash in on the moment and Your hypocrisy is easy to see. Christians and all Nigerians deserve protection everywhere.

They don't help country for free. They have wanted to build military base in Nigeria which was rejected. This is an opportunity to do that. And you know what? At the end they won't solve the problem problem of alleged killings of Christians. They will only compound the insecurity situations while feasting on Nigeria resource.
Well, let's wait and see. For sure the Christians will regret supporting this move because when the problem start, everyone will feel it. There is no way to separate Christians from Muslim when crisis comes.
In essence Christians should keep quiet and endure the killings?

Iran is nationalistic and her citizens say no to US intervention in their lands despite hating the Ayatollah regime. Nigerians, especially in certain part of this nation are jumping up and down that a foreign power is threatening their own country. It’s unfortunate. All these will count against you at the electoral box.
Quit being clever by half . In this context, a church goer is regarded as a Christian.

Dear President Trump (POTUS)

Nigeria has become a hotbed of terrorism in West Africa, serving as a fallback base for extremist groups across the region.

I wish to personally thank you for listening to the daily cries from those of us following the humanitarian crisis and for those living in what has effectively become a failed state. The truth is that life in Nigeria has become unbearable for millions.

For years, the country has endured unchecked brutality — a cocktail of terrorism, Fulani jihadist militias, kidnappings, abductions, human trafficking, money laundering, religious extremism, and state-sponsored persecution of ethnic minorities, particularly the Biafrans of the South East.

Even more concerning is that Nigeria is currently led by a President with serious criminal allegations, Ahmed Tinubu, whose background has drawn comparisons to Manuel Noriega of Panama. His questionable record and leadership have become matters of global concern.

Furthermore, Nigeria’s government routinely defies African Court rulings on human rights, disregards UN mandates, and undermines international legal standards. In essence, it has become a pariah state within the community of nations.

We therefore urgently request that the United States take swift and decisive action to stop the spread of terrorism across West Africa and the entire continent.

The southward movement of jihadist groups from the Sahel represents a grave and growing threat — one that America and its allies must address before terrorism engulfs Africa.

Hahahha. Us no dey joke oooo.

Stop sharia, and we will stop smuggling weapons to Nigeria. Then, stop smuggling weapons, and terrorism will be over.

The United States has nailed it by exposing their agenda to Islamize Nigeria through sharia. Bashir has also exposed himself.

The US understands the game because they have researched what is happening in Nigeria. Can you hear that the Sultan of Sokoto has also been linked to the cause? That man was so bold that he wanted to introduce sharia to the South West through Oyo.

Sharia promoters sponsor weapons smuggling into Nigeria. Remove them, and terrorism ceases. These people intentionally allow many weapons to find their way into the hands of opportunists, who quickly began using them for kidnapping because it is profitable. Why did not they use it to rob houses and banks like regular robbers? They discovered that the money will come to them rather than them going after it, and it is far more profitable than robbing homes and banks.

So, removing sharia and sharia people will put an end to terrorism in Nigeria. They have been killing Christians na. However, they began to strategize in order to appear to be attacking everyone. And that is why you hear Muslims here writing lies. That is the narrative Bashir intended to convey, but was exposed while defending sharia. He stated that the US cannot dictate what we should do in Nigeria. Even when Christians are saying no no no. Sharia is forceful. They will kill you if you do not accept it.

Thank God Christians never stopped praying. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has answered our prayers. Victory belongs to the LORD.

I proclaim this:

Sharia is permanently dead in Nigeria. Terrorism is permanently dead in Nigeria. Islmatising Nigeria is dead. Gun smuggling has stopped. God has removed the source. As a result, terrorism and Christian killings have come to an end in Jesus' name. Hallelujah.

Christians, start writing about this. Stop sharia now in Nigeria and stop terrorism. Sharia is terrorism. Stop it.

A warning to sharia supporters: this is your final chance to repent. If you don't, you will meet your end, declares the Lord God of hosts. Amen!
