Gumi is a person of interest.

The outrage of Gumi is misplaced, selective, and telling. Yes, it appears he is calling for national dignity and sovereignty, but these are languages of patriotism to cloak his sinister affiliations.

First, the call to “sever diplomatic ties” with the US.

Trump's notice is not a threat directed at Nigeria’s government or its people but at the terrorist networks operating within its borders.

So when Gumi says sever diplomatic ties, you should see where the speaker’s sympathies truly lie.

A government that is confident in its legitimacy and moral standing would welcome any external action that targets the killers of its citizens.

Only yamayama people whose loyalties are entangled with these violent groups, whether ideologically, politically, or financially, would interpret an anti-terrorist intervention as a national affront.

Second, the text shows that he is a manipulator.

He appeals to “national pride” but distract from the fact that thousands have been murdered, displaced, and silenced by terrorists while the same “sovereign state” has failed to defend them.

When the state’s authority is already compromised by terror, insisting that no foreign power should interfere sounds less like patriotism and more like a plea to preserve the existing disorder.

God forbid!

Third, notice the rhetorical sleight of hand: Gumi speaks of “economic expansion and military alliance” with unnamed “other options.” He is thinking of ISIS, Talibans and other dangerous affiliations. This is a man who serves as the tongue of terrorists.

And yet, he is not considered moral and political bankrupt. It shows how complicit the media is, that have lent him their platform.

Gumi only defends the conditions that allow terrorism to thrive. He doesn't care about the lives lost. He doesn't care about Nigeria. His sympathy is with the violent actors.

But we must remember:
True loyalty to one’s country lies in defending its people, not those who slaughter them.

Gumi is a person of interest: no investigation is required;

he has flaunted his link to individuals, events, or organizations - involved in terrorism.

Gumi does not merely express problematic ideas; he also participates in and aids the extremists' concrete activities.

So, he knows he is on the radar. If you are patriotic, it should be your prayer that all those who take part in the terror in our country be cut down.
Thank You very much, GUMI is the first person of interest..... But Whenever USA goes ,both the Xtians and Muslims shed blood ... But it is a better option.... Bandits will thread cautiously now because of overhead drones even though our oil wells are no longer safe

Unfortunately, this is going to be divisive narrative from the north. Any US intervention will be viewed as an attack on northern Muslims. Again, we unite to say NO to Donald Trump's planned invasion. The Us should work with Nigeria instead of invading the country. The outcome will be worse than what we have currently.

We have useless leaders who only know how to loot. Unpatriotic things. Now they will wake to the real world and understand what Russia and China have been fighting for. Might is right. The problem with eradicating this terrorism is that USA is the sponsor. Truth is stranger than fiction.

America is the biggest market apart from China and doing business with them is good. Also they have Intel of information we don't have. They have technology we don't have due to the way we live and the things we have come to accept and adopt as a people. We are limited for example by this culture of collecting money from politicians who enter and then recover what they gave us with excess peofits. Then this principle of god fatherism is potent great weakness that has devastated us and sent us back onenhundred years back. We refused to accept truth and honesty instead we have adopted corruption as the order of the day. So we should work with them not right them what Trump wants is a stop to wanton killings whether Christians or not. We can not continue this way everyday bodies or losing men

How is Nigeria a sovereign nation?

Because they hire administrators to manage Nigerian resources for them does not make Nigeria a sovereign nation.

Because Dangote Group has a fertilizer factory in Ethiopia managed by Ethiopians doesn't mean that it is no longer a Nigerian corporation.

Tinubu’s silence on Christian massacre speaks volume.. I don’t expect any action against bandits because both the president and his vice are all Muslims..
When the vice president was a christian and not just a christian, a senior pastor of redeem, what did he do to help the christian community?

The issue isn’t about religion; it’s about leadership and accountability. Whether Christian or Muslim, what truly matters is the willingness to act and serve the people. Honestly, by standing firmly with the church, Donald Trump has shown more commitment to Christian causes than Yemi Osinbajo ever did.

Gumi is right

1st there is no Christian genocide in Nigeria. Trump and his cohorts should have investigated the situation and had discussions with Nigerian officials before jumping on social media to rant nonsense

2. Trump is trying to bully Nigeria because Tinubu refused Trump dump his deported criminals in Nigeria

3. This is a time for Nigerians to stay united and show that a tyrant that is abusing human rights in his country USA cannot bambooze a Sovereign country like Nigeria with 220 Million people. We wont bow to neocolonialism.

Trump did the same in South Africa by falsely claiming there was white genocide, till date, US cannot prove it
Chief both you and the Gumi you are supporting are not alright.

Citizens are killed everyday in all parts of Nigeria by Fulani islamic terrorists but your government keeps mute, turn a blind eye or negotiate with them. This has happened for over 10 years now under APC government that it has become a normal thing.

Predominantly Christian populated areas across many states are being systematically wiped out - plateau, Kaduna, nasarawa, Benue, Taraba. They have spread to southwest states too. There are thousands of people in IDP camps who have been driven from their ancestral lands yet your irresponsible government refuse to take decisive military action against these people and their sponsors

UAE sent the list of terrorism sponsors in the north but APC government swept it under the rug. Extra judicial killing of Christians go unpunished notable is the redeemed church pastor that was lynched in Kano and Deborah that was burnt to death in broad daylight with the perpetrators posting videos on social media. Even the young airforce Yoruba fighter pilot who was highly trained to neutralise insurgency was killed by her colleagues right in the air force base. Nobody has been prosecuted till date.

APC instead of fighting terrorism until they are defeated choose to placate and reward them. Do you know that there are parts of the north today where farmers pay tax to terrorists before they plant and harvest? The food inflation we are experiencing today is partly due to Northern farmers that were driven from their farms to IDP camps.

Since Tinubu and his APC government choose to be irresponsible I totally support the international community efforts first to call out the government and possibly take action to defeat terrorism once and for all in Nigeria.

This is not the time for emergency patriotism. Tinubu has shown that he doesn't care about daily killing of citizens. All he wants to protect is himself and his reelection while taxing Nigerians to death.

Sorry but the truth is bitter!

What still amaze me is the Nigerians believing Trump is interested in Christains affair in Nigeria lol.
The ratio of killing to Christains killingratio in US way higher than Nigeria. (In 50 killings in Nigeria only 2-3 are against the Christian, In US in the rate of 50 48 if not 49 are against Christians)

Nigeria should sacntion them, you can't dictate for a sovereign state.
After the prisoner deposit saga.
Trump has accused South Africa of White killing, Trump as accused Venezuela of Drug, Nigeria of selective killings, Iran of Nuclear Advancement.
Yet every single accusations happens in the US everyday.

Forget Nigeria trading crude for refine oil, direct exchange for yuan instead of dollar isn't affecting is a big lie. Currently America is on the thread of lose base on the dependency of Nigeria on themselves rather the US.
Mark my word the invasion of Nigeria by the US is going to be a great fall for the United States.

I trust in God and I trust in Nigeria governance as a process and I AM NOT A BETRAYAL OF MY SOIL.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA
GOD BLESS PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU
GOD BLESS AFRICA
You trust in an administration that is openly practicing tribalism and dividing Nigerians? An administration that is doing it's best to destroy democracy by massive rigging of elections? An administration that is doing it's best to to institute a one-party state in Nigeria?
You are definitely unpatriotic. If America decides to invade Nigeria, the Nigerian military will quickly surrender because the country is too divided to wage a war with a foreign country, especially a super power.
If your President cannot do something about the wave of killings and kidnappings, he should step aside.

Nigeria should immediately sign military pact with Russia and China. These useless west and America are intent of continue their colonial mentality. They always cook up allegations against any country not yielding to their colonial policies. The ambassador should be sent packing immediately. Severe all diplomatic relation with US.
