I have been reflecting on the reactions from all Nigerian politicians who have rejected and countered Trump allegations and one particular thing has stood out for me. None of our politicians have suggested that we crush terrorism in Nigeria. I have heard and read numerous suggestions, summon the US ambassador, look towards China, look towards Russia, Call Trumps threats bluff, blame Christians, deny the allegations. They have all said numerous things except one - End insecurity in Nigeria by all means necessary. This has left me thinking, does it mean that Nigerian politicians aren't even interested in making an attempt to end the insecurity in Nigeria or have the terrorists become so powerful in Nigeria that the government are afraid of making an attempt to crush them? Just how powerful are the Fulani Islamic terrorists in Nigeria? So many questions, but the reactions of our politicians towards America's statement on Nigeria has indeed been an eye opener. |

jflower06:Exactly, they would rather defend their abysmal record against fighting these terrorists instead of being proactive in the fight against these islamists |

Exactly my point. Although Onanuga's latest statement has addressed it. |

Imagine the strength tgey are using to attack Trump, if that strength is used to condemn terrorism. Since Trump made that statement, no oone, i mean none of them is yet to condemn terrorism/ banditry. |
